Not sure if I am in the right place for this but I am giving it a try. We received our NOA2 today and wanted to post it so maybe to help others with hope in there timelines. We received our NOA1 on march 19, 09 and got our NOA2 today Aug 11, 09. waited 145 days. We filed with the Vermont Service Center. Hope this can help with others that are waiting. Visa Journey is a great place with many great people Thanks so much, never posted before so forgive me but I read and read here everyday!!! Thanks to all!

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

January 25, 2010 - Cory received her SSN

March 9, 2010 - Received appointment for biometrics - will be on March 18

March 18, 2010 - Biometrics done

March 19, 2010 - Touches on I-485 and I-765

March 25, 2010 - Advance Parole approved..received on April 1 in the mail

March 29, 2010 - I-485 notice date, received on April 4, 2010

May 3, 2010 - EAD approved

May 5, 2010 - Date interview....approved

Congrats on your NOA2, things should move quickly now.

You should look at posting in your appropriate forum. Under the K1 visa processing, there should be a MARCH FILERS group that is for the Vermont Service Center.

Is your fiance going to interview at the Casa consulate?

NVC Received : 09/08/09

NVC Left : 09/09/09 per NVC (called 9/11/09 and they told me it was sent!)

Consulate Received : 9/11/09

Packet: Never received. The consulate was nice enough to send us a letter via email, along with a list of approved doctors and translators. My fiance can easily pick up the forms required when he goes for his medical and translations.

*Update 11/26/09* Medical complete! Picking up the packet was smooth and easy! One week until our interview!! Can't wait!!

Interview Date: 12/03/09

Call from embassy to go pick up his passport with visa!: 12/11/09

Visa in Hand!

POE: Charlotte

Date of Arrival: 12/26/09

Date of Marriage: 02/21/10

AOS package sent: 3/22/2010 via FEDEX

Congrats! I hope we'll receive ours soon too..but I'm afraid we'll have to wait until October cos we filed in May..ugh!!
