we got blue. But it was the best thing we could get. Phi didnt pass her medical. The blue sheet said they only want to see medical passed. so... i would say its 100% pink when she passes medical. now all the hard part is over. no more stress..... :dancing: just need to see the results of TB test. then we go from there. but she interviewed very well. they asked her some questions in english. I was worried about not having paper stating relitavies in the USA because that is how i met phi through a friend of my mother. Here are some questions they asked her.

who interoduce us to each other?

When you 1st know your fiancee?

What launguage do you talk with your fiancee?

Where did your fiancee learn Vietnamese?

When was the 1st time your meet your fiancee? (Face to face)

When did your fiancee proposed to you?

Did you and your fiancee have dinh hon (engagment ceremoney)

how many people come to dinh hon?

when did you have dinh hon?

How many days was your fiancee in vietnam the 1st time?

has your fiancee gone to vietnam after the 1st time?

What are your fiancee's hobbies

Where does he go fishing?

Who does he go with?

What is his name?

Where he meet this person?(friend from high school)

(they looked at pictures she brought, they saw some of my brother in iraq and many many other photos)

they asked if she can interview english

Does your fiancee have any brothers or sisters?

they asked where fiancee brother live

Does your fiancee parents work?

talk about your fiancee home town

that was about it. Thank you VJ members for helping us get thtis far. and sorry it took so long. I was just so happy to leave saigon... god i hate it.... i am in Vinh Long..... And I missed it :P

Good news.. when will you know about TB?

I was surprised with the fishing buddy Q... Thuy knows I fish a few times each week, but not where or with who...

They asked my wife the fishing question too. They had asked about my hobbies and she said I fish and they asked with who and she said best friend and then asked her about my friend and she answered all. They did also ask her about the biggest fish I ever caught and she just told them she has no idea as she had never fished with me.

If you have any hobbies and tell her about them remember they will ask more questions about that.

Many congrats about the blue. (never thought I would say that)

After all of the blue slips lately.. it tends to bring those of us waiting for NOA2 down; and after reading this post I feel so much better because I realize how much she knows me and she would likely have had no issue with those questions.. I just need to keep collecting evidence of bonafide...

I need to tell her to not mention the car I am restoring... only that I fish... lol... I can imagine the questions.. What size engine? HP? 3 speed? posi? who built the engine? lmao

Congrats

This worrys me because my wife can easily answer those questions however she cannot awnser them in Vietnamise and her English is very hard to understand unless you know her language imperfections and you know what to listen for. She can awnser them in Cantonise fluently but is wants to awnser them in English. She is afraid to ask for a Cantonise translator because she thinks the interview will be harder or they will want me to speak Cantonese.
