HELLO VJERS,

i just wanna ask if i can travel state to state while my I-94 and visa(K-1) was already expired..?i just want to visit my aunt for a couple of days..

my case(AOS) was pending..and still waiting for my bio appt..

im asking this cuz i dont wanna get in trouble..in case i can travel via airplane what should i bring w/ me..?

Traveling within the US is not a problem - if concerned, bring a copy of your NOA1 with you but generally speaking, you should have no problems at all. Have a nice trip. :thumbs:

You can travel within the U.S. anywhere and as much as you want. Just don't cross over any borders on the way. If you fly, have your passport & NOA1 with you, along with any other photo ID that you might have, such as a driver's license.

oh i dont have any ID except for my Philippine passport..i passed the exam at DMV so i can have my state ID but they didnt let me get my ID cuz my I-94 was already expired..so is it ok jst that the only thing i have is passport(in my maiden name not my married name)..?

the point is, the name on whatever ID you show at the airport need to match the name on ticket.

if you buy a plane ticket with name that match the name on passport, it's should be fine.

if not, bring copy of your marriage certificate with you too.

have a nice trip!

I wouldn't worry about anything as long as you stay in the US, the state ID is helpful but not a must. My wife used her Thai passport for everything until about a few months ago when she got her state ID. Just stuff a copy of your marriage certificate in your passport and keep in a safe place.
