Infopass Appointment Question

I was planning on making an infopass appointment to check on the status of my application(decision) but I don't know, if I qualify to schedule one. Its been more than 3 weeks since my interview, and I have not heard from them. While browsing through the website, the following options come up.

Order from Immigration Court - If you were directed to us for processing based on an order from the Immigration Judge. You must bring all documents required in the post order instructions given to you by the court.

Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing.

EAD inquiry appointment - If your I-765 employment authorization application has been pending for more than 90 days.

Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment.

Which category do I fall in since it doesn't make any sense. I have seen ppl here on VJ schedule infopass every other day during their AOS processing.

Would they object to my approach this soon. Although I would be scheduling one after a lapse of 30 days.

Any suggestion?

Just got my AP yesterday from the NYC office. It actually doesn't matter. You can just choose any of the options. You will need to talk to someone at the reception desk about your issue and they will direct you to the appropriate desk. Make sure you have the following items with you though:

Passport

Two photos ( I had to go out of the building and took it at this shady shop cross the street)

A new copy of filled I-131 AP application

Documents that could prove your Green Card application (NOAs, etc)

Proof of the importance of your upcoming travel ( I had an international conference to attend)

Hope this helps and good luck!

Thank you for your reply. Only in my case, its not for AP. My I-485 Interview was held last month and I want to check what they are doing on my case.

Hey Saspak.

Dude I'm so sorry you still haven't got a decision! I don't really know anything about infopass but you are well within your rights to find out what the heck is happening! Best of luck. I know whatever happens (and I'm sure you'll be fine) your experience may help countless others in the future.

Best

:)
