Why are you guys so afraid of someone like Rush, who just talks for a living, but who can't take away your money or your rights like this Leftist administration can? What is so frightening about him? No it wasn't ok when Mike Malloy and Randi Rhodes use to do it and it isn't ok for Rush, Beck and Palin to do it. It belittles what millions of people went through and suffered at the hands of the Nazis. Also two wrongs don't make it right. For people to sit there and think it is funny now that the "other side" is doing it is petty and childish.

What's even more obvious is that the state of the country is tied very closely to the state of its political dialogs.

You say on one hand that the media is at fault for failing to fulfil the role that the 4th estate is supposed to, and on the other - you idolise a demogogue and utter hack like Rush Limbaugh. Frankly, its hilarious!

But if you're only halfway serious about any of this #######, I find it difficult to see how you aren't, in your own way, somewhat to blame for the current conditions.

I listen to Rush, but I don't idolize anyone or anything. I am a follower of God and God alone. You may think that listening to a talk show is equivalent to idolotry, but that's clearly a stretch beyond logic, and you have to stretch in order to have a point at all. Here's some news for you, I don't reference him alot. I acknowledge that I listen to him, and I will correct misinformation about him, but I rarely raise the subject of Rush myself. Since he's a Leftist target, you Leftists have been effectively programmed, like Pavlov's dogs, to react to any objections to Barry's agenda by blaming Bush and Rush, so he comes up alot.

Rush does factor into the equation, but not nearly as much as politicians who make law do. Since Rush isn't a journalist nor a politician, merely a pundit, I'm not sure why he looms so large for libs other than he sticks in Barry's craw. He's been around for a long time, and during that time, Democrats and Republicans came and went in and out of power. He didn't make any of that happen. During that time, he hasn't started nor ended a war, levied a tax, signed or vetoed a bill, or sanctioned a treaty. He has nothing more than a microphone and his own opinions to offer.

In the meantime, those who actually purport to be journalists and lawmakers have let law enforcement slide, attacked our Constitution, advocated their own personal biases and manufactured crisis to further an agenda that seeks to convince us that the US is a cancer on the earth. Obama runs around apologizing to communists and dictators for slights, real and imagined and talking this country down, to the delight of the liberal media. Those are the people I have my eye on and the ones who concern me the most.

My first response to this article was how unfortunate it was this guy used the WW2 story of his father for such a cheap political swipe at the Right.

Really and truly the Left use the Hitler/ Nazi association are a regular tactic, the only one they use more is "racist".

I suspect Rush and others are trying to return the same attacks that have been a constant at them.

Generally Elected officials are more careful but; someone help me remember...... Didn't some Congressman/ Senator Use the Nazi comparison when speaking of Gitmo Prison in Cuba?

Now I'm wondering.... if Using the Nazi comparison is ... or should be, off limits (at least until the Dems are out of power)... is the Communist comparison still Kool?

One could add up the deaths, figure in the the equally inhumane treatment of "its" victims and make an equally (perhaps even more) compelling case for make Communisms comparative use as taboo too.

I say let people use what terms they want, I think it is clear when someone "over-reaches" with such extreme comparisons anyway.

Certainly no one thinks Rush, Palin Beck are "Deniers" (no matter what else you might think) to even post this piece here with a straight face is laughable.
