That's awful. It's funny, since the US passport is valid for 10 years I often wonder about the photo. Most people look different 10 years down the road, so they don't match their passport photo that well

Just a case of someone overstepping the mark, I would guess that customs people do it regularly. What kind of stupid training are these people given. It's about time they jumped in to the 21st century.

Maybe one day we'll all have to do biometrics to confirm our identities, sort of like Nexus but mandatory!
