We called them Revels in Saskatchewan, not Revello's, but that may have been the short form for them.

You're right warlord...Harvey's make awesome burgers! And I like how they let you have as many and whatever condiments on them. I have tons of pickles.

We actually had a Harvey's that was housed with a Swiss Chalet in Saskatoon in the early 80's, that didn't do well and they closed up shop! Then, years later...like 20 years later when Home Depot opened up, they put a Harvey's in their front entrance, weird, but it was nice! Don't know if this was the norm or not...and actually, I've never been to another Home Depot like that since...that had a restaurant in their front entrance.

That's really normal now, I've seen lots of Home Depots with a Harvey's inside. Also, many Swiss Chalets are now attached to a Harveys

You forgot to go eat Swiss Chalet.

I love that place.

And is there not Coke in the US?

I'm so confused, cause I see it alot down there.

(I'm a Pepsi person anyway)

I grew up in Nova Scotia and I definitely knew them as Revello's.

That is what we called them too.

I am from Nova Scotia also. Just wondering what part you grew up in.

Spent four years in Sydney and nine years in Halifax/Dartmouth. Went to Dartmouth High and St. Mary's University. And you?

You forgot to go eat Swiss Chalet.

I love that place.

I told my parents that I'd take them out for dinner one of the nights, and at first Swiss Chalet was brought up and they changed their minds to a more expensive Greek Place. I was going noooooooooo. So unfortunatly I missed out on the Swiss Chalet thing this year which sucked...

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...

Damnit! The Swiss is so good....ahhhh...christmas commericals...

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

The best!

I will say this though..while I love the SC, I do not like that sauce that comes with the turkey or chicken. NOT my favourite. I just have the meat plain.

From what I know, they don't do Toblerone anymore.

It's 5 of those lindt truffles... which is better in my opinion

If you do like the sauce (which I LOVE...have since I was a kid) John calls it spicy ketchup

We buy it in the packets and make it up down here. In fact, I did that Saturday night with Beer Can Chicken and Roasted Potato wedges. It was yummy :P

We also had a Harvey's in Oshawa's Home Depot. But the Home Depot I worked at in North Whitby (it was brand new) and we were all excited for Harveys....they put a dang Subway in there  We were a bunch of crabby employees for a while. The smell of the bread baking (you would think would be nice) but it made us sick! We'd all get headaches haha.

We also had a Harvey's at Durham College (I took my Trent University Courses there). I can remember going down there and getting lunch after my morning 3 hour classes...maybe that's where I gained the freshman 20!
