HI everyone, I have some questions re: adjusment of status that i am going to file for my fiancee. I filed K-1 visa for my fiancee which already approved and he will be coming to US in early sept. My first question, after we do civil ceremony, can he apply for social security and driving license or does he have to wait to get these documents after he receives his working permit? My second question is there a link on how to file for adjusment of status for my fiancee including what documents to submit. My last question how long does it usually take for him to get his working permit and green card? thank you so much

You don't need to wait until you're married to obtain the social security card - once in the country, wait about 2 weeks, then you can apply for the card. (See the step-by-stem guide for obtaining a social security card) Driver's license is a different question - it varies by state but most nowadays will make you wait until you have either the EAD or PR/Green Card to get the license.

EAD/Working Permit takes anywhere from 60-90 days from the time you file.
