I saw that on the news last night - ridiculous.

Women don't have the same rights there as the US. Those people think the male has a stronger voice than the female. Not only that, Bill Clinton don't have any say in governance besides consulting. So, Hillary had justified for speaking out like that. However, her attitude wasn't professionally done.

I don't think she did anything wrong in her response. Calling it a hissy fit is in itself unprofessional and degrading.(that is directed to the OP)

I would expect a very similar reaction from any male secretary of state who received a question from the audience asking for his wife's opinion about the same type of question. Showing a little anger that his/her time is being wasted by an idiotic question regarding what does your spouse think about a matter of governmental policy when the spouse no longer has an active position in the government.

She had exactly the right response in order to discourage further outrageous questions.

That didn't come across well - no reason I guess that she couldn't answer the question with her own opinion and ignoring the part about her husband.

Still it's kinda dodgy to judge someone on the basis of a short video clip, most people do get flustered/have bad days etc.

It doesn't really prove anything.
