So I had my medical today and I think it went good :D

Arrived at 6:50, parking was full so my parents dropped me off and continued on to what they had to do at my moms consulate. I was one of 5 people already there, got called in just shortly after 7 to pay my fees. The receptionist lady was really nice and had heard of VJ before, was happy I was so organized.

After that it was straight off to Xray. The lady there was very nice I guess because I was in a good mood she was joking around with me a bit. They give you a little blue paper robe and ask you to take off everything on top and put on the robe. She does pose you but as long as you don't move its not bad at all, she said her biggest issue was people stepping left or right after she let them go, so she would have to repose them to get the best shot. She also told me not to throw out the robe (they use it for the physical)

Down the hall I went to near where I paid my fees, not long after I was taken into a room (this was probably about 7:30 or so now. A doctor came in and took my BP, which was a little high because I was nervous (had coffee and ice tea before too..dur to me, plus I HATE Toronto traffic...we got up at 3:30 to drive there ewwwwwwwwwww) but he told me it wasn't anything to worry about. Was told to wait in the room and someone would be along to let me know what to do next.

I think I waited maybe 10 minutes or so and then was told to start getting undressed for the physical. This was the only area I had any complaints on, as it took awhile (probably about 20 min) for the doctors to get to me. Its a busy place so I understand but it was cold without any clothes but this little blue cloth robe  Anyway, 2 doctors (females) came in and did my physical. The first one asked me a bunch of questions, you know the usual drug/alcohol abuse, health problems, if I had any surgeries, if I was pregnant. They also asked about heart issues including Arrythmias. I think she thought I was going to say no, so she checked it off, but as she asked specifically about it, I told her I had been diagnosed with a very very slight Arrythmia but that my Dr. had said it was nothing to worry about. She told me the other Dr. would listen when she did my physical part. While she transcribed all my vaccine info the other Dr took over, did a full exam which included feeling for a pulse in my foot (it was there...thank god! I'm still alive!) chest exam, a quick peek down below to make sure I am female. She listened to my lungs and then listened to my heart for awhile...I think it took her a little bit to hear my Arrythmia because it is so slight, but she also said it was nothing to worry about. Was asked if I had chicken pox when I was little, said yes and that was that. Was reminded that I need my booster next year, but I wasn't asked to get anything extra so I guess I just have to wait on blood and xray results and should get the whole thing in the mail this week!.

Speaking of blood, it was the last thing done (thank goodness because I hate needles). I guess the change the order depending on who is available for you when you go in, which is why I went to xray and had the physical before my bloodwork. I had this very nice nurse named Maria. She had a cute spanish accent. Told her I hate needles and I get a bit dizzy so she got me to lay down, and man is this woman good at her job. Told me to take a deep breath but I barely felt the needle go in. If I hadn't seen her change the vials I wouldn't have known at all that she was drawing the blood already. I have no bruising at all, and it was easy, no dizziness like I usually get. My arm was sore afterwords but thats because I'm a big baby and I clench when I get needles so my arm always gets tender. I give her a gold start for blood taking though!

And that is all, now I am safe at home, and after a good 6 hours sleep feeling pretty great. Now I just have to wait on the interview and I'm good to go!

They didn't peak "down there" for me. I guess I look real female LOL.

Really cool you got 2 doctors tho, I'm sure it made it go faster.

yeah it was tons faster. The 2nd dr who did my actual exam looked like she might have been new, so she might have been doing everything exactly to instructions *shrug* she was very nice which was good, made me calm down a little.

Nobody looked at mine! But, I did have a very uncomfortable breast exam that felt like it went on for about 15 minutes...
