Can anyone share with me some insight on when I can apply for my son and parents to come over to visit me after I get married in the States with K-1 visa? I will not apply for my son to come over to live in the States until 2 yrs later.

And if I'm not able to get the Advance Parole to go back to my home country after 3 months, then when I will be able to go?

Thanks everybody.

You do not apply for them... they apply for themselves and they can do this whenever they want

YMMV

You can leave whenever you like, you just won't be able to get back in until you have your AP.

You can never apply for them to come here, they have to do that. They can apply for a visitor visa anytime at the US consulate. There is no guarantee they will get it.

Your son, if under age 21 and not married can come on a K-2 visa with you or within one year of your visa being issued. After more than one year you would have to apply for a CR-1 and wait quite a long time.

You will be able to return when you have your green card or AP. The AP is usually issued 2-3 months after applying for it.

Thanks . I know I cannot apply them to come over, what I mean is with my status there if I'm qualified to privide them support needed for them to apply for visa.

My son is 13yrs old now. So if I wait one year later, I will need to apply for a CR-1, then how long normally my son will need to wait to be able to go?

If an LPR petitions then about 5 years

If a USC petitions then about 1 year

YMMV

you can try.

chances to pass will depend on their ties to china. If they are rich and show that they will return, no problems.

if you don't try, for sure they aren't coming.
