hey guys , appointment letter is the letter sent to the beneficiary thru email when you have already called for a scheduled interview , that is :

1) if you got your packet 3 ( a letter from USEM to your beneficiary stating approval of K!/K2/K3/K4 whichever your petition is , and telling that you are now qualified for an interview and medical exams ; it usually arrived thru courier as in my case thru DHL; from that letter , a website is stated there, wherein all necessary docs needed and application forms can be downloaded; now it you still havent received any letter yet from USEM : you may

2) use NOA2 send it thru email to fiance and have that , pics , 3pcs 2X2 white background , her passport , and of course 10,400+ pesos for medical fees .

She can go to ST. Lukes at 6 am and will start processing at 7am , better to arrive early so she can finish early too , and will be asked to come back next day for results and vaccination; the staff there will tell you where to go next , for Xray, blood tests and physical exams by a panel of doctors ;

the next day , bring your the receipt with you and show the guard , he will tell you which floor to go , if it is in the second floor , that means ,your xray is ok , you will be given vaccinations , if not ok then you will be asked to go to back to xray ,or further laboratory exams ;

I do hope this one will help you guys.

^Thanks. Now what about the NVC letter with the MNL? Does she need a copy of that, or just know the number? And is St. Lukes open 24/7?

It's not open 24/7 or weekends

maybe you should wait for when she can schedule for the interview, some posts ive read had some people saying it's good to have the medical about 2 weeks prior the interview but probably not a month before that :)

Did you, the petitioner, get the letter from NVC? My fiance hasnt received ours, he said they(his dad) just received the NOA2 :) did you call in the embassy yet? I havent called them up I called the Department of state instead and they told me the embassy had received our case

In my option wait tell the 2 weeks before the interview. But technically you can do it now!

Here is all you need to make your journey from here to hugging your fiance a smooooooooooooth trip:

Don't wait on them to send you anything or you may get old. Go to this page and learn all you need to...Call them and see if they have your package yet and set an appointment.

This page is about Setting Appointments:

Has she/he got all the paperwork ready yet, is the medical done.

Go to StLUKES send her a copy of the letter from NVC, email or mail your choice: it's walk in so don't worry best to go Tues-Thurs to avoid rush.

Medicals are valid for 6 months. Info about medical is at the wwwfk1en.pdf link above.

Check this site for more info on the visa process in Manila:

Check up on the CFO seminar he/she will need either before or after but definitely before he/she can LEAVE the country Look HERE:

Hope this helps...Good Luck

Wait a minute! How can she do the medical now if everyone says that she needs the "appointment letter" from the USEM? Some people are saying to wait for the USEM to contact her and give her an "appointment letter", and some are saying not to wait for the USEM to contact her but to go ahead and do the medical with the NVC letter and NOA2....which is it???

Basically she wants to get this sh*t done. We want to do it fast, but obviously she needs to have all the stuff with her that's needed.

hey calm down ok , she can do it using the NOA2 copy , whicch you got right? now , scan and email it to her , she can use that and go to St.Lukes , together with 3 2x2 pics with white background , her passport , and payment for medical fees in the amount of 10,400+ pesos ; St. Lukes is open Monday- Friday only ; medical exams will take 2 days , she has to be there early to avoid long lines, if she can be there at 6 so much better , so she can finish early ; hope this one may have cleared up everything .
