Hi, I have a couple of questions about bringing my wife's 14 yr old daughter to the US. What documents are need for the I-130? Do I need a letter from the father stating it is ok? Just want a list of documents for her to get for us to send.Thanks

06/03/05 - NOA1

07/20/05 - APPROVED!!via e-mail.(47days)

07/25/05 - NOA2 07/22/05 - NVC assigns case number

08/01/05 - NVC sent I-864/ IV fee bill

08/11/05 - I-864/ IV fee bill recieved (postmarked 8/4)

08/11/05 - Sent both bills to St. Louis

10/25/05 - Sent I-864/IV fee bills again

11/01/05 - IV fee bill entered into system.

11/07/05 - A packet of information and documents was generated.

11/12/05 - Recieved packet(IV and I-864)

11/16/05 - Biographics were recieved and documents will be reviewed.

12/05/05 - Checklist was sent for I-864

12/14/05 - NVC recieves checklist.

12/29/05 - CASE COMPLETE

01/05/06 - Case sent to embassy

01/23/06 - packet 3/4 recieved

2/27/06 - interview

daughter-in-law would be the wife of your son.....maybe step-daughter??

Your wife needs a letter from the father...he has to give permission.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

ok good call on the daughter-in-law.

besides the certified letter from the father i need birth certicate and copy of passport. i have a copy of the wedding certificate already. is that all i need for the i-130?

The instructions that come with the I-130 should tell you exactly what you need to submit.
