hi

i am in vancouver and i have got my interview in montreal for i-r1 in sept.now what happened that my husband had filed for naturalization and got an interview date same as mine yesterday. i mean same date we both have interviews. i have 2 kids and also pregnant this time so he had to go with me. i cant make it alone with 2 kids and a place where i have never been before. we booked the tickets etc everything and now we are confused as we know not sure that if we move any of these dates we dont know when will we get these interviews again. my husband has waited so long for his citizenship and i am alone here was waiting for this day of interview and now both of us are helpless dont know what to do.

please suggest something and also please let me know which interview we should go for and which one we should reschedule.

i was not registered here before but i used to read visa journeys topics and issues. and you guys have helped me in so diff ways to understand everything better. thanks for that .

Have you petitioned for the kids also? If they do not require to be at the interview I could only suggest to have a babysitter/ family member watch over them. If they need to be at the interview, all I can say is good luck. My wife is taking our 3 kids to the interview as they also need to be there and I will not be able to attend to assist.

Montreal is a very easy consulate to get around. When I was there, there were a few children there and everyone was very accomodating for them. If you are comfortable traveling with 2 little ones, I think you can totally do the interview just fine! I suggest you get a hotel very close to the consulate to cut down potential mishaps

Good luck.
