We were almost at the Alberta border with Saskatchewan when we saw a police officer in the middle of the highway, he didn't signal at all, just smiled at us when we stopped - we were so busy noticing him that it took a minute to notice this:

Floridaandtriptocanada029-1.jpg

So were the cows the actual border? I'm just imaging them standing on the border check point between the two provinces or something. One side of the cow says Alberta and the other Saskatchewan...

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...

Great pics everyone! Trailmix, I probably missed your post on this but..... how was re-immigration back to Canada?

Piece of cake, in fact we would have flown through the border had it not been for our AMERICAN car :o

First we had to drop by and see the American's and tell them we were taking one of the 250,851,833 cars out of the country.

It's funny, my Husband went in there and said "we are exporting our car today" or something to that effect. The border guard said "who is we" - Mike said, my wife and I - guy says "where is your wife" - he said "in the car" - what a silly question - i'm thinking, well you can't make me stay, car or no car lol

Anyway, Canadian customs was just - do you have any firearms - he said it two different ways - quickly - but not to be caught out we said No and No!

It was quiet that day and we walked right up to the counter.

In Calgary, we arrived Thursday afternoon, popped in here then headed straight for ABF - it's quite the mickey mouse little operation - you just walk up a ramp to their 'U.S. customs secure warehouse' (as in - right in to it) - but they couldn't be nicer there. Canadian customs was already closed, Mike went there the next day, cleared the stuff no problem, ABF delivered it at around 1:30, movers arrived just after 2.
