Southern Alberta doubled for nearly all of the western 2/3 of the US in Silver Streak. It was pretty funny.

Those are actually both from a rest area we stopped in when my husband moved down from Edmonton last year. I thought it was pretty cool that they had all those displays there. I did not take a picture, but there was also a little aviary with doves in it. I also liked the big red posts marking the provincial boundary, but just barely woke up as we crossed it and could not get a good photo.

Okay time to put my expert photographic memory to the test. You were in Headingly as you approach the city and the sign was before the perimeter highway? lol Sorry for the most part Manitobans don't have much to do or at least I don't

Carla, I actually took a picture of Saskatchewan just for you - stuck the camera out the window and told Mike - have to get a picture of Sask for Carla! It didn't turn out all that great though. Oh and I have another cows pic lol

Beans, Headingly sounds awfully familiar - will have to ask my Husband.

Wow, that is SO awesome, and I'm so touched... Look at that sky...and all that space....you're making me so homesick, but it's a good thing you know?

Ok so I took some pictures and here they are.

First of all, this is the house that was kitty corner to our house in Florida - I didn't post a pic before because I figure it was too identifiable - but it really is a pretty cool house - I never saw the person that lives there. Across the street from it are two small white houses which he also owns and rents out - guess they were the servants quarters?

Floridaandtriptocanada005-1.jpg

In case you have ever wondered what the inside of a Upack trailer looks like - this is it - oh and use a relocube instead of a trailer if you don't like a fine black dust on a lot of stuff.

Floridaandtriptocanada009.jpg

Floridaandtriptocanada016.jpg

My camera seems to be over exposing - whateva! Anyway, look what's coming up!

Floridaandtriptocanada020-1.jpg

Yay, Tim Hortons - a picture of a sign about a doughnut!!

Floridaandtriptocanada021-1.jpg

Another sign!

Floridaandtriptocanada022-1.jpg

Took this one so you guys could place your orders

Floridaandtriptocanada023.jpg

Yes, I even took a picture inside - these are your fellow Canadians

Floridaandtriptocanada024-1.jpg

A picture of the doughnut I ate - as promised!

Floridaandtriptocanada026-1.jpg

We were almost at the Alberta border with Saskatchewan when we saw a police officer in the middle of the highway, he didn't signal at all, just smiled at us when we stopped - we were so busy noticing him that it took a minute to notice this:

Floridaandtriptocanada029-1.jpg

Nice pics, Timmies out west treats you guys better than east we dont have iced lattes out here!
