I have filled out all docs etc, etc, and case complete with NVC. Just waiting in the interview to be scheduled.

Trying to have everything in order for my wife and kids when they go for the interview.

I have see in a few posts where the interviewer has asked to see tax forms/tax transcripts from USC.

Should I be sending copies to my wife, would she need them?

We have the RFE to take (Kids exempt AOS form)

Passport photos

EMails logs

Marriage/Wedding Photos, and additional family photos (only a handful)

What else should I have prepared?

I had an entire copy of our whole petition with me - taxes included as well as recent paystubs from my husband (yes, they asked for those from us). We also brought some additional evidence of our relationship but it wasn't needed. They only required an up-to-date police check from me as mine was closing in on the 1 year expiration.

You'll need the Expresspost evenlope as well, her passport (and of the kids too if needed), the additional passport photos, the medical, and anything else I think I've forgotton that someone will help me with.

Good luck.

The expresspost envelope only applies in Canada.

EK,

You won't need email logs.

How long have you guys been married? We have been married for 9 years, my Husband took 1 photo of us together, they didn't ask for it.

Your expresspost envelope.

We submitted 1 tax transcript to NVC, they wanted to see them for the previous two years as well, which my Husband had with him. If you submitted all 3 to NVC - then she does not need to take them.

I made up a folder for my Husband to take of the entire application - really it's just paranoia though - they already have all that stuff.

Over 11 grueling long years (jk). I will be calling IRS today to see if they can fax the tax transcripts to me and I will send them to my wife, just in case.

Thanks for explaining to me. I read alot of different topics and posts to make sure i know everything for my husbands case. We dont have a lot of pics either, more of our wedding receptions. So im glad to hear others dont either. To us, it just means we were busy and just didnt have time or forgot the camera at home. We know we love each other. Do i need to send my birth certificate and my moms to NVC with our 864 forms,or is the birth certificate just for my husband to send as he is the beneficiary. This NVC stuff is very confusing and makes me nervous i do it right.

Thanks in advance, sweetcitywife

Good luck to you all!

Tax transcripts were easily attained by calling the IRS. I attempted to follow the prompts but found it confusing. If you do call and just wait on the line without pressing any options you will get the switchboard operator and they were able to transfer me to the correct department ('accounts' I think it was). IRS was able to fax all 3 previous years (206,2007, and 2008) within minutes. Mailed these to my wife in Canada so she would have these for the Interview as I will not be able to attend.

Pictures - We have many pictures of us as a couple from our earlier years of Marriage and now it's all about the kids.

With 11 years of marriage and 3 kids, I doubt you'll need any additional evidence.

Good luck.
