Happy Monday MENA!

Off & running as usual .. weekend was good & relaxing, went to presentation on "What is Islam" with hubby this weekend. I wanted to expose him to more muslims in the community so he could make some social/proferssional connections etc ... turns out the gathering was really for nonmuslims but it was very interesting. Lots of people & food was fabulous!

Angel..Sorry to hear that your plans went awry and having difficulties with certain ignorances.

Livvie, I read your post, Caturday...very pensive and I agree, now that I am 37 years old alot changes as you hit that 30 and especially after you have had children and seen some of the world. We have to live our life to the fullest, be happy and thankful for all that GOD has given us and anything too much in excess is not too good. Ah if only we could know then what we know now..right

As for the hair, I have been longggggggg overdue for a trimming of my very long hair and months ago professed to cutting if all off and coloring it with a new look. So much for that.

Tonight is one of the few nights that hubby and I have alone and find something fun to do.

Dunno what yet but hope good food is included somewhere on the agenda. I haven't cooked a meal in 2 weeks.

Good Morning MENA! How is everyone on this sticky hot day?

I'm in hurt finger limbo. Do I go to work? or do I stay home? Yesterday I was sent home for finger pain. As much as I don't want to stay home.... I want to stay home. I could get so much work done on my business (and the house). Grrrr for finger injuries

Morning Mena! Well we had a hot stormy day yesterday. We lost power for 6 hours, thank goodness it finally came on just as I was goin to bed. I was so bored. Over 25000 people lost power and lots of tree damage from the 60 mph winds... I thank Allah we just rain and wind. Watching the trees bend while they were blowing was pretty scary. Have a good day!

at work. meh. hubster comes home saturday ensha'allah. This means I have to clean clean clean....and buy the proper groceries....and get back to perfection this week.

I'm in the process of making my first shirt we'll see how that goes lol!

Kenza as I posted I am long overdue to a makeover and wanted to do exactly what you plan to do except daring to go much shorter than that even. Good luck and do let us see how it looks.

Leyla...sorry about your finger. OUCH! Be careful. I would say don't try and do too much with it too soon.

It is always nice to have a day to get other things done.

I did laundry all day yesterday girl. I haven't been outside yet since I drove to the office at 8 15 this morning...I heard what the temps will be climbing too, in a few minutes I will drive to meet hubby and see just how hot it really is

Turia, good morning...we had a quick threatening storm last evening about 7 pm....some wicked lightening and loud thunder, quick shower and then the sun came out B)

Hey Amal....good luck on your shirt making. I took home ec in H.S. and made a couple things but haven't touched the sewing machine since..I can do basic repairs by hand. YEAH HUBBY COMING HOME SAT!!!!!!!!

oh Kenza! ALL? or just like Kelly Clarkstons picture? All my brothers were shocked to see my hair cut above my shoulders. Adam said he didnt want it this short again bcz he likes it long, but its just too hot and heavy with long curly hair!
