i married with my wife (USC) in Jan 2007, and prior to our marriage i have been in the US for more than 8 years (as a student). so i got my 2 years GC... and then i have the 2nd biometric done after 2 years and 8 months of our marriage, this biometric is the (i-751) for 10 years GC.

here is the question, am i already eligible to apply for US ctitizenship now or do i have to wait for another 3 years to be eligible to file N-400?

i m in such a rush because i would like to get my parents to the state so i can take care of them. i love my parents.

thanks!

This thread link may help you find the answer to your question:

Based on this thread, the answer is: You are eligible to apply for naturalization 90 days prior to the date you became an LPR (that date is specified on your greencard).

I didnt apply 90 days prior to the date I was admitted to the US as LPR, I waited for the full 3 years. But a lot of people here in VJ had submitted their N400 90 days prior to the 3rd anniversay of their residency and their applications went just fine.

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong on this.

Welcome to VJ (F) In a nutshell you need 3 years of marriage (total from Jan 2007), and 3 years as a PR. You may apply up to 90 days before your 3 year anniversary as a PR, but you have to have 3 years of marriage also (Jan 2010). Have a look at LucyRich's post in the thread link Sakura88 above kindly provided, for clarification...
