Hello All - I had a interview on December 15th, 2008 after that my case was placed under admin processing. On 8/4/09, my wife called to find out the status of the case. The Embassy New Delhi told us the case has been closed and is being sent back to the USCIS. Plese advise what should we do at this time. How long do you tink it will take before we can hear somthing from USCIS.

Right now you should start gathering additional evidence to rebut the consulate's findings. you will probably receive a notice to deny or revoke in the mail, and the normal time to respond is only 30 days. i would also advise making additional trips to visit india.

our case was sent back on december 29, 2008. we received notice that the case was with uscis on february 4, 2009.

sorry for the denial. trust me, i feel your pain (F).
