Help spelling error

My baby's middle name was misspelled on the apps I sent in. When I discovered it I called USICS and asked them to change it and they said ok, this happens all the time we just do a clerical change and they'll get it done and there won't be a delay and gave me a ref# to confirm they did it. There's even a "touch" documented on my file So all was great.

I get NOA2. All is still perfect because it states her first, middle initial, and last name.

Yesterday I got the NVC conf. And it spells out the full name and the middle name is still misspelled, it's 2 letters. Has anyone encountered this? What do I need to do?

I plan on calling the NVC tomorrow and USICS and even Obama if I have to but I'm curious if any of you have experienced this and what the fix is and also, OF COURSE, if this delays it. Any points in the right direction would be awesome. Thank you.

Be sure it's correct on the DS visa application forms. I "think" they use the DS forms for what goes on the visa.

The DS forms? Those are the 325 things I filed here?

No, The DS for are the Department of State form your fiance(e) uses to get the visa at the embassy.

my wife 's name was wrong on the I-130 and i went through the USCIS

i got NOA1 with wrong name

then i got NOA2 with wrong name

the case went to NYV with wrong name

my DS3032 was with the wrong name

so i called NVC they told me send a letter to correct it

i send two letter one from my wife's attorney in philippines that her name is spelled wrong so please correct it

i send one letter saying the same thing

then i waited till i got the interview letter and guess what they corrected the name

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

AbbynCheryl, I wish I could relax. I'm a total stress ball about this. I'll chill when Diana is in my arms.

So I guess I'm going to call the NVC tomorrow to correct it. Thanks. Did you send the letter to them or to the Embassy.

On the other, the DS forms are what she fills out now as part of what she takes to her interview?

Thanks.

Op check forms. DS 156, DS 156K and DS 157. They are the visa applications. Your fiance will have to fill them out and pay the $131.

If her name is correct on them it will be correct on the main thing. Her visa.
