If anyone who has filled out the I-129f from the UK can help me for this section. For question 15 it asks for state or province and then the country. We tried to fill it out together but were stuck on this question. He is from Scotland so do we put Scotland down for the country or do we put the UK. Also in the "state or province box," the UK doesn't have states, so do we put the county that his town is located in? thanks

- March 24, 2010 sent off petition

- March 26, 2010 item was received in LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA 92677

- March 29, 2010 check cashed

- March 29, 2010 NOA1 Notice Date

- April 3, 2010 received hard copy of NOA1

- August 19, 2010 touched

- August 19, Approved! (received NOA2 August 23rd)

- Left NVC August 27, 2010 to London, England

State or province is the next smalles political subdivision from "country". In the FSU it is "Oblast". In the UK and Scotland it is County. I think Ireland also. So put the name of the County.

I think you could list either Scotland or UK as the country. As Scotland is an independent member of the UK. If I am wrong someone can correct me, but as I recall the members of the UK are similar to the EU members.

Ok thank you, that is what we were thinking but we wanted to check and make sure we put everything in correctly.

I agree with Gary and Alla and would add that you should be consistent with whatever you put on all of your paperwork. Good luck!
