Well, finally we are approaching the time for Medical at ST Luke Extension Clinic and I really do not want her to travel by SEA , since it is a tiring and long trip...( I tried once and promised I will never do it again!!!)

To any VJ familiar with the area,

how long are the flights to Manila and how often?

How far is the Manila airport to the SMLEC and the US Emabassy area?

Hi there,Air Philippines has daily direct flight from Ozamiz to Manila and vice versa..and it's only an hour and 25 minutes from ozamiz to manila...I hope this helps..good luck on your wifey's medical...i will keep her in my prayers...

Also an option to fly out of Cagayan De Oro, we flew in there from Cebu when going to Iligan City.

I will keep the CEBU in mind also...especially for the flight to US.

I have been to Cebu for all my trips, never been in Manila....unfortunately

and someone else suggested some hotels to stay nearby...any good experience?

she thinking about the last week in August like the 24 or 25....too bad missed by one week, or both could have got there together... unfortunately cannot be earlier for her.

if your fiancee is alone to go to manila for medical then just ask the hotel where she will stay to pick her up at the airport so it will be safer for her than to ride a taxi there at the airport alone...

me and my hubby did that when we both went to manila for medical...and the driver was nice so my hubby asked his phone number to pick me again at the airport for my interview.

we paid 600 pesos for the hotel pick up...id rather pay that much than be fooled by some drivers...not all drivers are nice though...
