i have a friend, he sent his application the 2 or 3 of june, he is still waiting, he didnt receive anything from immigration, it`s been more than 2 months now, is that normal? most of people get their fingerprints letter after month,....anybody has an input???? thankssss

Was the check cashed?

Did your friend send it Registered, Return Receipt?

When sending something so important through the mail you should take every extra precaution possible, as well as ensuring it has the correct address on it.

He may just have to send it again, or call the Missouri office.

Did he send his application is through a method that could be tracked? Has he checked that to see if/when it arrived? Has the cheque been cashed? Two months is a long time - I would have expected him to have received his biometrics and he should have received an NOA as well. He should give a call to the 1-800 line and select the option that he hasn't received a receipt number so he can talk to a real person, and hopefully get passed up to an immigration officer.

thanks guys, i will ask him if he got any tracking number, i know that he sent a money order not a check, but he might have put wrong adress..i will check wth him again...i appreciate your help guys..

He can also check with the organization issuing the money order if it has been redeemed yet. Money orders information seems to take a longer time to retrieve for some reason but I know others have been able to find it out.
