Leyla did you file for workers comp for the finger? I mean not for nothing but could come in handy (no pun intended) while you're out of work, you know?

Angel we weren't alienated but everyone was most certainly reserved at first when my husband arrived. Now they love him bunches. :luv: Just give it some time and they will see what you see in him, inshallah.

I'm off to get an mri on my neck. whoo hoo what a way to spend a saturday!

I am just having the best Saturday a girl could ask for!

Started out at a customers house at 9am, and wrote an order for over $6,000 :) (i AM a flooring specialist )

Then I came home and had a one hour video date with my husband  (wow he's looking good)

....and tonight I am going to a Marco Antonio Solis concert with mah VJ/real life buddy....malarie :D Check this out...she has 9th row CENTER STAGE tickets. We went to see this singer in 2007 and oh my...he has an amazing voice. (and hes very easy to look at :P )

Hope ya'll have a great Caturday.

good Afternoon! :energy: Im working 2-11pm for the next four days! what a bummer! My brother and his wife are coming in from Baton Rouge La and Im going to be missing out on most their time here! Cant wait to be off Wednesday and Thursday!

The other night at work Adam saw a lady customer looking for something that seemed like she couldnt find, so he asked her if he could help her look for something. Her answer was, "Do you think Im stupid? Do I look stupid? No I dont need your help!" Well well, see if he offers anymore help! lol

I like how Kathryn says "Let Caturday begin!" :D

Leyla that is a lot going on. (F) Sorry for the work and family troubles for you guys and I hope everything works out.

Happy Caturday Everyone!

My plans are open today but I think I'll see if my friend has an opening at her beauty salon. I have to drive all the way into town but I feel like I need a haircut.

went to take my written test for the driving liscence this morning but they wouldn't take any of the proof i got them, they needed a certain proof of my residency here. they are sooooo specific about it! it drove me crazy but i have to get them what they want if i really want the liscence.

Leyla- wb sister and hope everything works out for you both.

Kenza and Olivia- Glad you both made it back safely.

Happy Second Anniversary KLM!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Thx HLM. Well I heard back from my friend and she is done for the day and going to a wedding reception so the haircut will have to be next Tuesday. Maybe I'll go see that new Pixar animation "Up" instead.

I just remembered!!!

It was this time last year I was on the phone with Tarik. His flight from Atlanta to Columbus was cancelled and he couldn't get here until the next morning. :) At this time last year, I was on pins and needles waiting for my love to come to me! Our 1 year anniversary is on Tuesday! :) Awww!!!

No haircut, no Up in theaters, so I went to Mexican food and had chips and salsa. Then I came home and uploaded new pictures to facebook from Egypt. I still have more from the wedding. I made a couple calls to friends who have had losses in relationships recently to send them healing and love and support and let them know I am thinking about them and someone cares. Then I watched the sunset on the mountains from my Mom's window in the country and felt really moved by how lovely it is here and how appreciative I am for what we have here in America.

I think I've had my fix for a long while with Mexican food. I've over indulged and done it. After Egypt even Mexican food is just not the same for me anymore. My tastes and mood has changed. Maybe it is maturing or maybe it's also the changes in me coming into my 30's. Since being back I've been sitting in quiet contemplation about life and figuring out just what I want out of it anymore. I've lost the taste for alcohol. I've lost the taste for parties and bar hopping and screaming my brains outs randomly or at concerts or howling at the moon. I grew up in Austin as a teen so life was wild and being weird was encouraged and still is from what I hear. I can't tolerate loud noises or concerts for long or being around a lot of people or in crowded places for more than a few hours and find it over stimulating. I've gone from be extroverted to introverted. From more liberal to more moderate. I can't tolerate raw cheese or dairy only cooked cheeses. I can tolerate spicy foods much anymore though I once loved it all. My body has started making it mandatory to take care of itself in certain ways. I am conscious of it getting older and needing to be cared for unlike my former perception of invincible youth and the rubber bones of childhood. My body wants calmness and quiet and fresh fruits and veggies and I no longer have the yearning to have lots of kids like I always used to. I'd be fine with not having any at all and just having my sole companion and each having our work and time apart and our cozy home and vacations seeing the world and our close friends and family that are around us or we travel to see. The things I want of my 30's are different then the things I always thought I wanted when I was younger. I've done a lot of what I've wanted to do so far but there are still more things on my bucket list I guess. The one thing that bothers me though is finding my passion or my bliss. The one talent I have that no other has. The one thing that makes my soul sing when I do it. The things that used to do that no longer do that for me and it makes me wonder if maybe there isn't one thing but maybe one thing at one time and maybe that time passes and then there are other things that come and then it is the time for them.
