My interwiew hasn't been scheduled but could be later this week and my interview would be in Aug. or Sept.

I asked if I needed Tom's birth cert. or divorce papers and she said no.

I have a long form and an 8 1/2 x 7 inch Ont. marriage cert and she told me it had to be the long form with all the details??? Maybe she confused it with the birth cert. Has anyone else just taken the Ont. marriage cert. 8 1/2 x 7 inches?

I wonder if NVC needs the long or 8 1/2 x 7 for the I-130. Anyone know?

I'm calling again on Friday. This waiting is sending my blood pressure thru the roof!

We went through Montreal and they asked us for long-form b. certificate, though since we were K1 they didn't ask for marriage cerif. If they are specifically requesting long-form I would go with that, why risk it?

FYI - Montreal interview was very short and sweet, staff is quite friendly and relaxed. The guards @ the check-in were a bit obnoxious and officious but that's to be expected of guards everywhere I suppose :P

Good luck!
