So we're beginning the K-1 process. Currently, I'm in the Air Force stationed in Germany. I have a basic question on the I-129F. I will be filing the Petition while Overseas.

I am the petitioner and wondering about what address I should use on the form. On the 1st page, Part A it asks for my address. Should I use where I physically live in Germany? This would be a regular German address, I live off the base, nothing special. Or should I use my mailing address that I use on the base. It is a seperate U.S. mailing address that is an APO, AE. It is not a physical address, just an address where the US Postal Service can send mail as if I were in the US.

Page 3, Part C asks if I'm in the Armed Forces and where I am stationed at. Also, a seperate block for my current mailing address.

My best guess is that use my German home address for Part A, and for Part C, I use the name of my base and my APO, AE mailing address.

I'm sure someone out there with ties to the military can answer this. Thanks!!!

Your best guess is what I would do.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
