Lol... you don't want to know how it is in Minnesota? It's cold, dark and rainy.... let's not talk about warm sunshiney beaches... it makes us Midwesterners cranky.

lol...well we're all walking around like we've been wandering in the desert for days without water. Can you FedEx a few of your rain clouds over to So. Cal.? :jest:

It's HOT in Phoenix. It's sunny, and over 110 many days, and sometimes there's a "breeze" which makes it feel like they turned on the convection oven.

The days are alternately dragging (while I wait for Nik to get here) and zooming by (as work deadlines come up) sometimes both in one day.

I'm saving all my vacation days for the week after the wedding! (as I used the other half to go to a wedding in Hawaii with Nik back in March (our first vacation together!! - meaning, not where either one of us had been before)

We are also planning a long weekend in New York City, where I'll go meet him at POE. I think we have all of our general recommendations gathered, now looking for specific restaurant/night time entertainment recommendations, if anyone's interested in talking about that. Maybe I should start my own thread about it. :D

So...how's your summer going? :)

So...how's your summer going? :)

I grew up in the Phoenix area and still have family there. My parents are over in Chandler right now and they plan to move back to Flagstaff before next summer....because of the heat.

My in-laws are visiting us...were granted a 10 yr. multiple entry visa, so they're staying with us for about 5 months. :)

we are going on vacation to San Diego in just over a week... can't wait...

Enjoy it, Marilyn! :)

No holidays at the moment - probably going to the UK later in the year. Summer is fun though, lots of fun in the sun, pool play and CJ has just started AYSO soccer, yipee!

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
