Wow you must eat a lot of spaghetti

Believe it or not - pasta is actually one of the worst things you can eat. Converts directly to sugar and doesn't the cholesterol reading much good.

Packaged pasta sauces are pretty bad for you too - you're looking at roughly 1500mg (at least) in those jars. Much easier, tastier and healthier to make your own.

It's funny, eh? I was looking at that list and most of the stuff there, while it was all a good price, I never buy.

But to be honest, I'm not judging anyone at all, but it is really interesting to have a look at the life of someone else via their grocery shopping.

I tend to suss out people's carts when i'm in line at the grocery -- I make grand, sweeping dissertations on their lives based on their grocery buggy...

IT's true.

i also get really embarrassed when I have something naughty in mine like a jar of cheezeWhiz or Cheetos.

:|

What? CheeseWhiz is good on rye bread toast.

I think its interesting that people (not aiming this at anyone here) don't understand a whole lot about nutrition - and think that you can lose weight simply by reducing your intake of saturated fats. People don't consider that refined sugars are one of the biggest reasons that they are overweight and/or have digestive or heart-related problems. You can lose lbs simply by cutting back on milk, breakfast cereals, bread and pasta.

I don't need to lose weight which is probably why I don't care :P

Seriously though, yeah I know those are all big weight gain foods. I would be surprised if someone didn't know.
