I once had a Jamaican child tell me how to make rice and peas I nearly died, she was like you boil this type of coconut milk a so me see me mouma do it. I was like oh by the way you said it I thought u have been cooking it yourself since birth

Also we are about 7-8 years older depends on the time of year.

Thanks for sharing Moni lol that was cute!

I am 18 years older than hubby. I have more of a problem with it than he does.

The interview in Jamaica went well with no problems. I did attend and I think that helped getting approved.

We did not have and interview for the AOS but did for the lifting of conditions.

The IO said we were red flagged because of our age and not having any children together.

There was no problem at this interview and we were approved.

WE ARE DONE!!!

Darlene, thank you. I believe thats why we were held in AP at NVC for so long. Thats the same issue Im facing. 16 yrs difference and no children....Thanks for sharing. Neither of us have a problem with the age. Once I knew he accepted it, so did I.

My husband is 2 years younger than me--I'm 32 and he will turn 30 on the 13th of this month! :star: He is the youngest person I have been with. I have always loved older men..I love gray hair or the salt-n-pepper look. My last boyfriend before I met my husband was only 6 years my senior though. I have just always appreciated the more mature looking and acting man--it allowed me to continue with my crazy persona! We both can't be crazy! I think that's one of the reasons why I was drawn to my husband. He seemed alot older for his years...I know it has alot to do with his life experiences in JA...

Mrs P, we're different. I can't IMAGINE myself with a much older guy. At the dinner party I went to last night, one of the women mentioned that her husband is 20 years older than her.

That would mean me (27) being with a 47 yr old man. I can't even imagine it. I get grossed out at the thought.

My best friend, though, has no problem dating much older men.

This was a beautiful way of looking at it!
