So question about I 864

So, we sent our AOS package pretty close to three weeks ago and got the call (read RFE) for the DS230 -- does this meant that they'd processed the I-864 package? I know it says 4-6 weeks for processing but I'm just curious.

Curious as in -- in what sort of time frame could one expect an RFE for that first package of Financial documentation...

I'm pretty sure they'd only send out the false RFE once they've finished reviewing the AOS package. If you call and ask an operator they'll let you know if they're done with it and onto the IV package, which they probably are. Very close now!

Just an FYI...

I just called NVC and asked and was told that there were no issues with the I 864. That is SUPER cool. I was most worried about it so now we'll see how the DS 230 goes.

They did the same thing to me, Im guessing they wait for both packets both ds230 and aos be4 they tell u anything So go ahead and send the ds230 so they can start reviewing them. B/C after i sent the Aos a week latter i got an RFE and i Called to see what was up and they said oh nothing we are just waiting for your ds-230 to review your packet so i sent it and I called 2day and they told me they are now going over my case.
