Senegal Interview worries

I think we paid the taxi 2,000cfa to get from the place we stayed all the way to the ferry for Gorée.

OWWWWW.....I went twice (once with Lamine and once when my family came to visit me) and I learned to ask for them to drop us off a few blocks away. Speaking Wolof usually helped too.

wait-I just remembered that you stayed in Yoff. That's a good deal! Nice bargaining skills!

Not I - that would be my husband!! :) He speaks Wolof, French, Yoruba, English, and a bit of several other tribal languages. I only wish I had his linguistic skills! I have taken 4 years of French and still only speak a little.

ACK!!!! Possibley just screwed up. Well, it's fixable, but it'll take some work...

Anyone who interviewed in Senegal know if you really need a police certificate for every region of the country lived in for more than six months after the age of 16???? I don't know how I missed this, but I just noticed this requirement. Luckily, he would just need one from Dakar (where he now is), but I don't know if we could get it in time.

Did anyone else do this? I thought the certificate covered all regions of the country.

One more question---Is it L'Extrait de Casier Judiciare or Le Certificat de Bonne Vie et Moeurs? The Extrait de Casier Judiciare you only get in the region of birth while Le Certificat de Bonne Vie et Moeurs you can request from each region separately?
