Police Report for Taiwan

Hi

My fiance is trying to find where she can get the form to obtain her police report for when she was in working in Taiwan. She lives in Cebu City, does any one know where she can go to get the form to submit??

You need to get Police Clearance cuz the embassy will ask if you have lived outside Philippines. And it will also show that in your Bio forms. You have to go Taiwan Consulate in Manila and file for police clearance.

P.S. call Taiwan Consulate first and asked the requirements in filing for your police clearance cuz they may need request letter from the US embassy.

i was in taiwan before and what i did, i printed from their official website...filled it out and sent it by courier. of cors with the USD 11.00 inside without informing the courier service. Sorry to have done that but if u let them know, definitely they won't accept it. i got it back within 2 weeks. It takes only 3 days to process assuming u have a clean record anyway.

copy of your current passport

application form

USD 11.00

self-addressed envelop

below is the link. just click for the "application form". btw, i notice that in this latest web-update, they now accept payments thru western union. when i requested for mine last May 2009, there wasn't any other option but cash payment. i think its better now that u can remit ur payment via western union.

if you go check/read the link i posted above....they are not asking for used/old passport to taiwan and i was wondering why you need to have your former employer represent you. That would just complicate the process. ok, thats just me. ...its a breeze to get police certificate in Taiwan as long as you have no criminla case anyway.

btw, i even got 2 copies coz in their website it says 3 days to process....well it was 2 weeks so in between that i filed another (i know my bad...paranoid not meeting my due date ) and received my second request in 7 days. i requested mine from uae, if it makes any difference.
