Hey, happy Friday everyone, hope your day is going well! Jackie, I hope you survived the meeting unscathed :D

Amanda... aren't you glad to have Raad with you now in these situations?! I hate living alone because I get spooked by strange noises, and just having Abigail and I at home, I end up laying in bed, petrified, not daring to check out the noises myself :P

Can't remember who asked about Abigail in Thursday's thread, but she is doing better... We went to Carrfour and bought some foods that she likes, though she's still not eating a whole lot. I got some Hershey's syrup so at least she'll have a few cups of milk a day. I brought her chewable vitamins, so she's still getting those. I think she'll be okay. She's off playing with my SIL's kids right now in their apartment across the street, she's thrilled to have them to play with, even though they don't speak English and she doesn't speak Arabic :)

Yes..I am absolutely glad to have Raad here with me in these kinds of situations. You know, I've lived on my own for so long I kind of got used to it. But it is a good feeling to see your husband grab a huge kitchen knife and go check who the maniac is beating down the door at 4 am!! :blink:

I survived yet another Friday morning meeting. :P I'm a professional, I learned a long time ago to avoid the bosses scrutiny.....make your weekly goal and fly under the radar.

Now.......on 2 da weekend!

Good strategy Jackie...I wish I could do that in this corporate ####### hole I work in...unfortunately we are told to make up our own goals, but somehow the end result is not our goals at all, they are ones dreamed up by upper management that sound just like a bunch of bs!!!

But I agree....bring on the weekend!!!

I just finished up work for the week and now I have a fever. :angry: Why couldn't I flare up in the winter? It's sooo nice here today and I really wanted to walk the beach with my youngest daughter since her sister's at a sleepover and hubby is working tonight. Guess I'll go check what's on demand since she doesn't like the netflix I picked out.

HLM I really hope your mom gets the visa. Even though my mother was very little help when I had my kids it still was nice to know that family was closeby. If I were there I'd bring you over tons of casseroles and pounds of coffee :) That was the best thing imho....my sister brought over chicken/broccoli and ziti, american chop suey and tons of pierogis (we're 1/2 Polish ). I'm getting excited we need more mena babies in here!!! :thumbs:

thank you so much Bridget!! :luv: i would take any help i can get at that time and from anyone lol im being optimistic she would be here soon, i already need her for cooking and cleaning because i get heavier and its a mission everyday to make a meal!

Hey MENA! I've missed you all. I guess I've been busy with craziness lately. How is everyone? I've kept tabs on a few of ya on facebook :) but not everyone. What's going on?? :)

Leyla your hubby looks soooo much like this guy I work with. He's from Lebanon but was born in Palestine. I mean they could be twins!!!!
