Mornin.

YEAH FRIDAY!!! It is a beautiful day. It cooled down tremendously last night and even cold!!! No a/c and covers on.

I managed to find a backpack for my fourth grader and one school skirt. Let the shopping begin.....

Amanda..that is great news about an interview!! GOOD LUCK

That is scary about the home break in near you.

Jeanne The Strangers could be the name and that was a scary flick, the one where they come in sneakily and torture them all night!

Kelz....I forget what it is like to just go out and have a couple drinks and enjoy. I so am in the mood to do that.

We are heading to a free outdoor concert. They have it at a very nice park and have various groups play a variety of music all summer, 4 days a week...this weekend is the last of it :(

Just another reminder that summer is winding down.

I hope to hit the pool this weekend. Not sure about the weather or which day just yet.

My middle child, daughter, will be 13 on Sunday... (L) I just can't believe that she will officially be a TEENAGER!

Stasshi!!!!!!!! Hey girl :) I bet the babe is having more and more firsts now that he is an infant.

Are you settled in to some sort of a routine now? I mean I know it always changes, as far as exact wake times and nap times but I bet he takes a good 2 nappers everyday and goes to bed at a reasonable time, no?

I hope you all enjoy your weekend. I thought it went by in the blink of an eye.

I am going to take in this nice day by walking on my lunch break.

Lisa, the best thing my MIL did was put Enzo on a strict schedule and you know what? He loves it! At about 9pm every evening he starts getting fussy and that is good - cuz it's bathtime. We bathe him, dress him for bed and give him a good bottle and guess what - he'll sleep until about 7:30ish each morning. We are blessed.

Yesterday, the funniest thing happened with him...my MIL gave him his bottle and paused for a moment Enzo let out a huge burp and then he broke out laughing. It was too hilarious.

Hey everyone. Have a great Friday.

Farid is officially registering with the Moroccan Embassy so he can give a procuration (power of attorney) to one of his brothers back home and the Embassy will not certify/notarize/what ever the heck the procuration unless he is registered with the Embassy. And then he wants to renew his passport as well so he must be registered with the Embassy as well. Anyway had to go take more passport pics, get money orders etc for all this stuff then must send all the documents overnight Express to New York. Gee whiz.

Everyone have a great weekend as well.

Hope everyone has a great start to the weekend. Today I ended up receiving more money in my checking account than I thought i would from a per deim job - looks like I have some play $$ this weekend!

Hubby just completed a kitchen refurbish for my friend and made a decent chunk of $$ for himself in just 3 days. In fact, did so good a realtor has asked him to complete work one of her apartments and another house she is about to list for sale next week ... all is improving & we got the I-94 today!!!

I'm having jet lag. I saw Harry Potter 6 last night at the IMAX with Mom & the first 15 minutes in 3D was super cool!

*Rubs eyes and yawns*

Mom's new house is beautiful & it's been rainy & cool here unlike Egypt. She laughs at me because I think it's cold. I think I'll go visit a friend today before she leaves on a visit to San Diego and I'll take her some cherry's to share.

I wish I had more time to buy more souvenirs. I wish I could give everyone something but Waleed insisted on buying everything and he had only so much time off work to go shopping with me. So far people have loved the scarves and toys I've brought back for them.

Have a good Friday everyone!

Hey, happy Friday everyone, hope your day is going well! Jackie, I hope you survived the meeting unscathed :D

Amanda... aren't you glad to have Raad with you now in these situations?! I hate living alone because I get spooked by strange noises, and just having Abigail and I at home, I end up laying in bed, petrified, not daring to check out the noises myself :P

Can't remember who asked about Abigail in Thursday's thread, but she is doing better... We went to Carrfour and bought some foods that she likes, though she's still not eating a whole lot. I got some Hershey's syrup so at least she'll have a few cups of milk a day. I brought her chewable vitamins, so she's still getting those. I think she'll be okay. She's off playing with my SIL's kids right now in their apartment across the street, she's thrilled to have them to play with, even though they don't speak English and she doesn't speak Arabic :)
