I-751 REMOVAL CONDITIONS PENDING IN VSC

Hello everybody. I submitted my I-751 petition and it has February 11th, 2009 as the official date. I have received every document like the extension status of 1 year more and the notice of the appointment for fingerprinting and taking of photos. The appointment of photos and fingerprints I already had it on March 7th,2009 in Philadelphia, PA. Since that date I have checked frequently the internet processing times, unfortunately I have not received absolutely anything else. I have just watched the last updated for that petition with my official date and the VSC service center, it appears within 6 months, the timeframe is of course on August 11th of 2009. My question is: What has happened with my case? I have not received anything neither a notice of appointment, neither nothing so far after the fingerprinting and photos. I have seen there are people that filled maybe like 4 or 6 weeks later than me, and it looks like their cases has been processed. Anybody think that is it possible another interview? (I have had just one with my wife exactly 2 years ago in Philadelphia). Please anybody can recommend me something. (I have just called costumer service in USCIS, they say that if I do not have any notice or something until August 11th, I have to call them right away, and they tell me what I have to do. Please somebody give me maybe a comment, suggestion, insight, opinion; anything is helpful for me , thanks so much, J.C.

I don't have any advice for you. Hopefully someone here will. I just wanted to say good luck & hang in there.

There's probably nothing wrong and you probably have not been delayed. Most people don't get interviews and many many of us never receive a touch once the biometrics has been posted.

VSC is slower to approve than CSC is right now. People from Jan - March are getting approved at VSC .. but so are people who have been waiting since last August/September. Since, they have a 6-month timeline for approvals, then if you don't hear from them by August 11, then give them a call.

The only thing I can say is - hang in there - it can take up to a year (sometimes longer for those unlucky few) - you may/may-not see any touches until the day you get approved. It isn't the best situation but you are covered by your extension letter so there should be no real worries.

You really can't go by what is/isn't happening with other VJ members - we (VJ members) are such a small portion of the active cases that you're not looking at the entire picture when you focus on a few who may have been approved before you..

Your case is just like ours. It is in line to be processed. We filed in January and are still waiting. Just relax and wait. I know there are others who have been approved at VSC who filed in January, February, and March. Not all have been processed. Good luck to all of us who are still waiting on VSC. Just think, a few months ago they were taking a year to process these cases.

Just called USCIS since our case is over 6 months old and the nice lady did a service request and gave us a referral number. She said we should hear something within 45 days. Good luck.

I waited 11 months to get my approval from Vermont. I am still waiting for our 10 year Green Cards since April 16th. Sorry you have to call the misinformation line as they all suck there.
