Did I blow it? (re-post)

A month ago I flew to Dublin for his interview for fiance visa at the embassy. He got the 3 year ban for an overstay which we were expecting. I had the I-601 waiver prepared to hand in that day. Since then I have emailed the embassy in Dublin to find out the status of the waiver, if it had been sent to London yet but I've received no reply. Today, I emailed them this message:

"As you can see from the emails below, the embassy in Dublin have had our waiver for nearly a month now. Any questions I have about the status have been ignored. Is this standard for this particular embassy? Do you think I should stop payment on the bank draft and just send another one along with another I-601 (I have copies of everything) directly to London? I am at my wits end, any light you can shed will be greatly appreciated."

It turns out the embassy in Dublin review the waiver and make a recommendation before sending it to London. Now I'm thinking they'll want to give it a bad rec because of the snotty email I sent. I never would have sent it had I known they review it in Dublin. I thought they just make sure everything on the checklist is there and then forward it on. Did I blow it?

I believe your spouse should contact the Embassy himself. He is the one who is affected by the denial of the visa. They do take phone calls. Also, as they say, honey attracts the bees, not vinegar. Don't be sarcastic.
