I don't know about unrealistic...I have male friends, but none that I hang out with alone. Honestly, I can be the jealous type so I like that I don't have to be jealous of any close girlfriends of his. He is close to his sisters, and he has a few female friends from work, but he doesnt hang out with them outside of work, same as me.

It works for us, anyway.

When I say sex is always an issue, I mean to say that deep down we are always aware of our sexuality...It is simply the truth that any male friend we might have as women at least thinks of us sexually unless he is gay. It is an inescapable part of our biology. We are wired for it!

Well, first of all, when Andre was 11 she let her Rasta boyfriend tell her he could no longer live in the house cause he didn't like him. That was after he made him eat a bug. Andre moved into a tent by the ocean for 3 months before the local shop owner took him in and made him go to school.

Then there was the day she threw kerosene on him and his 3 sisters and then tried to light them with a torch while they hid under the bed. Luckily, older sister blew the damn thing out and they ran.

I've seen incidents where alchohol was involved and her beating those kids for no reason that I never hope anyone else ever sees......where she lit a bed on fire, where she tried to hang her 2 baby grandchildren from a noose in a tree cause she was pissed.

I won't even go into the whole calling for money issues and the lies we constantly caught her in....and what she really did with the money.

my oldest has to do a science project for skool and i am kicking myself for putting her into this academy cuz challenge for her means challenge for me.. didnt think about that part..

so anyway. i think she should do either the popsicle golden gate bridge or race car..

anyone w/ likkle boy pickney ever help them build a model car?? the skool provides the kit so it don't sound like it could be that difficult?? is it basically following directions??

the the model car from kit and then this other car they have to build from scratch but it has to go w/ out motor??? i guess wind energy?? and carry an egg safely

and then a marble machine contraption..where marble has to move for 2 whole min beginning to end and stop by itself..

my daughters elementary school had technology lab which taught engineering some of the things they made were amazing

Tonight was the first meeting for the newest book club at church. We're reading Dr Myles Munroe's "The Purpose & Power of Men."

There was actually an equal number of men & women tonight, for the first time out of 3 book clubs I've participated in.

We discussed three main things tonight: What makes a man a real man? Have the roles of men changed over the years? Would we ever be comfortable with a man (ladies) or being a man (men) who stayed at home with the children while the wife worked?

I pose that last question to the VJ community, as there was quite a bit of debate about it at the meeting: Would you ever be comfortable with your husband being a stay-at-home husband or stay-at-home dad?

So this person posts a question asking how he can tell if his file made it to NVC after receiving NOA2. I told him he can call NVC at their 603 number. He responded that that wasn't helpful at all. I mentioned that typing in "603" at the search above, or "NVC 603" in Google would get him the number. Someone else put in the full # and he thanked them saying how much more helpful they were than I was.

Would I have been wrong to ask if he wants me to mash his veggies for him, too?

I would be extremely comfortable with it, but T is a very hands on Dad, he goes from doing the boy stuff to the girls stuff in a milli second! I think it is quite beneficial for men to stay at home even if for a short period of time as it gives them a different outlook on things. Also if it makes economical sense for the family then it should be done. It definitely changes the way things are done but at the end of the day the kids are not lacking anything, so why not?

I'm hurting My2...I am also worried sick that I lost my work cell phone. My job provides all of management with cell phones...and I just upgraded to a $500 PDA....I am praying that it is still on my desk at work. When I call it, it goes straight to voicemail. Oh boy...I can just hear my boss' mouth.
