Yep, that's how I knew....we never even received the interview letter even if they did send it out. The embassy e-mailed it to me as an attachment & that is what I printed out to bring to our interview.

It is entirely possible to get an Oct interview date although being flexible for Nov would be good so you don't stress. I don't think they do K-1s at limited times but not sure about that. Just write & request a date near your ideal time in November & most likely they will grant it as long as you know that DS-230 has been processed.

anyhoo, mr jengs girls are HERE. the came last friday via Miami. they were held in immigration/customs for a while just a hint you can't put liquor in minor's suitcases if an adult isn't traveling with them. I cried at the airport. they are adjusting well and school starts in two weeks.

Congrats Jengles on the girls getting here! Sorry for the hold up in immigration but I still can't help but find it just a little funny about the liquor. Who woulda known??

Dillon, I should've called you to come over last night. I cooked:

Boneless pork chops in a golden mushroom sauce with granny smith apples and onions. It was in the crock pot. OMG the house smelled so good.

Tuna noodle casserole

Country turkey casserole (turkey and stuffing casserole)

And what we actually ate.....beef stroganoff. It was so damn good. I wanted to swim in it.

Ha ha.....got it on the mind. Today is August birthday lunch here. I picked up the sheet cake this morning. 1/2 sheet, marble dough, buttercream icing. Picking up 5 different kinds of deli sandwiches and chips at 11:30.
