my husband gc expire in june 2010. we will send our LOC petition 90 days prior. is it true that if my stepdaughter comes here before hubby gets his 10 year gc, that she will only get a 2 year gc instead of a 10?

1luv.. no passa passa my girl.. my opinion and i am not judging or give a pass to nobody to do what i do, cuz we all got face judgement on our own..

i think its a individual thing.. but overall i see it as being okay.. in MY opinion its how the activity causes u to act.. if the secular activity causes u to do things u feel are unpleasing to GOD, then by all means stay away.

if u can't go to the club w/out getting sloppy drunk and jumping somebody's bones afterwards then maybe u better stay home.. if u can't listen to some music w/out thinking of that jump off and having a booty call then u might need to just listen to christian music LOL

of course most churches are against clubbing, but i think its becuz of the atmosphere that most clubs have.. never mind that intention of the individual has thats going, just for clean fun.. if there was spot that played contemporary christian music and gospel rap.. i would hit that place up but then just like all the singles ministries activities getting bashed these days, ppl would say its compromising and such.. im sorry i don't think Jesus was as stoosh as some make it seem.. i will teach my kids to honor God in all that they do and everywhere they go..

depends on what the secular activity is......everything not pertaining to the church is consider secular....taking a class on making pottery is a secular activity...

anyhoo, mr jengs girls are HERE. the came last friday via Miami. they were held in immigration/customs for a while just a hint you can't put liquor in minor's suitcases if an adult isn't traveling with them. I cried at the airport. they are adjusting well and school starts in two weeks.

I agree with u. But some ppl think they are just too holy. My gf got baptised in July. and the month b4 that we were playing I feel good by Beres and she was rocking away to the music.. now fast fo word after the baptism, the same song and others were playing and she did not even move an inch. I am like WOW . She says now that I am a christian I cant listen to these type of music anymore I think that is a bit extreme! If it was vybez, movado, assasin Djing abt slackness then I understand but Beres and other lover rock artists?? WOW
