Hi Ms.Tee..aww thank you so much !!..and to all the yardies thanx again for all the prayers !! My Fiance' is doing good and holding up but his mom and grandfather are taking it very hard...everything happened pretty fast so it's basically a shock to know she's gone but..ah suh life go..

Heaven your family is in my prayers this is so sad I really feel for the GrandDad losing his love so sad.....

thanx philly ! it means alot !! i'm feeling it for him too girl..hubby was telling me when they took her to the hospital yesterday morning his grandfather was crying ..but when he heard she passed he didnt shed a tear so it was like he knew she wouldnt be coming back...its so sad..i really feel it for him..then today he said he was in the garden trying to do some wrk and he just started bawling...so the whole family is over there now keeping him company..

Hi, night owls! Went to the comedy club tonight, so I missed Real Housewives AND Project Runway. Lots to catch up on this weekend.

Well I have Steve and Nat has Steven and our timelines used to be close until Nat got her interview before me....

Well, I filed two MONTHS before you, and you were approved a week before me, so it's like we're going around a track & keep changing lead.

Anyway, I know good & well one won't find me running around a track.

Um..I just looked at your timeline & see that you emailed the embassy the DS230 but they mailed you packet 3. That's strange. After I emailed them the signed DS230, they emailed me packet 4 (the interview letter) less than 5 business days later.

We never got packet 3, which was mailed out on the 11th they said. Its the 28th and no packet. Funny you say that Nat because my brite soon to be hubby didn't ask which packet he was going to get on 9/8 sooooooooooo I don't know. Not only did we email the Ds230, I had his mom mail a hard copy with a cover letter requesting and interview date... Gurl I stopped trying to figure it out, when it happens it just will. It was making me angry, all the confusion.

I suggest calling the DoS and asking them if your interview date was scheduled. That's how Ells found out her interview date, I believe.

Is the end of October too crazy to shoot for?

American Airlines said I can fly up to 30 days before my due date so that means I just have to be home by Dec. 11th

If I can get the KNG# and FedEx him Packet 3 then have him DHL packet 3 to the embassy with a request for interview.

Should I request an interview in November instead of Oct?

Do they only do K1 interviews at certain times of the month??

I want to buy my airfare before these awesome sales go away...

I think the 1st 2 weeks of Nov would be more reasonable. noh?

Should I tell them I am coming from Nov 1-15th, that I am unable to come back due to the pregnancy and request an interview the 1st week of Nov??

i, along with others have asked for semi-specific dates and had received the dates asked for.

the people i had email contact with at the embassy were really quite nice and somewhat prompt in replying - they were quite helpful with our bumpy journey!
