I don't have pics of me at my heaviest (avoided cameras in those days) - But I was heavy all my life - Here I am at about 19 -

I hear you Sus, I did too. That's probably why I still hate taking pics now. I think I have 1 pic when I was 105 lbs heavier and I only have that because a coworker was leaving the company and we took a pic together.

:wow: 105 pounds. How????

Wow how id love to lose 105 how did u do it . Hi everyone.

Well, I guess none of you will come over to my house for dinner anytime soon then. I just bought Mastering the Art of French Cooking and I'm on a mission to cook with my new pots and pans.

i'll be there!! more butter, the better!

smiley-violent111.gif

Just kidding mi fren! Mi jus jealous!!

Okay, now a question for you Finesse. It seems you are one of the fortunate ones who has never had a weight issue & according to the 'more butter, the better' statement, can pretty much eat what you want. Is this the case or do you actually modify what you eat at times to 'regulate' yourself? I've had skinny friends who can pretty much eat what they want but I have noticed that they just have a better gauge than I do that helps them stop eating when they're full. What's your secret or method??

FINESSE YUH FUNNY...

if ur spouse is job hunting would u accept the FIRST job offer if it was a night job??

roger and i have agreed that we dont' want to be apart odd hours like that..but we would try and be flexible given the outlook on employment right now..

would u keep looking and hope to find something else or snatch it up??

I would take it. And, look for something better during the day till you found the right fit. Honestly, by the time they get to where they can look for a job, they are bored sitting at home and you are ready for them to bring in some $$$$.

Well. Im suffering now. Chris works 10-7am and i work 9-5 and he spends most times sleeping more than 8 hours!! so its killing me and it will be one yr in Dec. So, once we get another car, then we can see abt him changing shifts its not easy at ALL. Baby is in school now so that gives him more time to get some rest. So, maybe we will get a few hours extra together since he gets more rest now.

In my current situation I would have him snatch it up and keep looking for the ideal job in the mean time.

Exactly - It's always better to be employed and looking than unemployed and looking - and any job puts a US job on his resume -

Or any other kinda donation!:whistle::rofl:

For us - it came to....are we going to have groceries or bill money next week or am I going to miss sleeping with you for a few nights a week. Hmmm...I'll take the money. Some people are not in that situation....being the sole provider for 6 months was hard for me.

At one point, Damien worked two jobs almost over the clock. I didn't like it one bit but I loved his drive to want more.

I SOOOO know what you mean!!

Afternoon Yardies !!

I'm a bit sad today...my fiance's grandmother just died a little while ago..they took her to the hosipital this morning becuz she hasnt been eating and has been unresponsive to everything..they thought she had a stroke but the Dr. said she didn...they left the hospital went home and just a short time ago they got the news that she passed...so their on their way back to the hospital now..its a bit upsetting for me becuz i actually got a chance to meet her when i was there last month...he introduced me to her as " His wife" and she smiled and said "she"s beautiful"...i feel like i was just talking with her yesterday..but i know she's in a better place now .. (F)

Prayers & hugs Heaven! :((F)(L)

i also have become really good friends with hubbys friends from all the good times we had in JA. Wish they could come here. Anybody need a man?

But seriously, yeah, I have a few girlfriends that could use a good one.
