i am happiest when i am 14/16

i know i will never be skinny and i am not aiming to be

i just want to be healthier

Me too. I lost alot of weight before but looked sick because it wasn't done the right way. This time, I'm not even aiming for a size...just being healthier. I will remain active by exercising and making better food choices.

my girl i am a 18/20 now

and my clothes have started getting tight

and because i REFUSE to buy a size bigger i'm walk around in the same old clothes and i need new work clothes but i REFUSE to buy a larger size

i just refuse to accept that i am going to have to buy bigger clothes, eff dat

only problem is even though i don't want to go a size up, i can't seem to get everything right so i can lose this $hit but yunno but i'm working on it

i don't watch numbers on the scale anymore

as long as i can fit into a 14/16 (ideally 14) i'll be good

i'm very tall and i have a large frame so there will never be a skinny gyal here

Well, I guess none of you will come over to my house for dinner anytime soon then. I just bought Mastering the Art of French Cooking and I'm on a mission to cook with my new pots and pans.

yeah thats the one difference in us my sista.. i am so not bougeois.. i don't think i take it TOO far to where i am ghetto.. but i do get a lil hood rich sometimes LOL

i was just seeing what he would say.. i wouldlove to put a flag up in my car, hopefully we'll go get one, its a small stick up one for the window.. i just think ppl would think i was trying to be a jafakan

i overheard some jamericans talking about that in the airport once

one of them was saying how proud he was to be jamaican and he wanted to get a jamaican flag plate for his car

and another stopped him in his tracks and said that would be begging police to stop him

I am starting to believe this. We have been pulled over twice with hubby driving and we have a flag hanging from the rear view mirror.

And, it's not his driving?

I had a JA flag on my rear bumper and never got pulled over with Andre driving with me or alone.

NO! He wasn't even speeding! One time we got pulled over because they said our front windows were tinted too dark and just gave us a warning.

Yes Quanna I am so paranoid of that! We take for granted our status and of course we always have to be careful and make the right choices about situations but if our Hubby's get into something not of their doing it could mean deportation. Ughhh the stress of it all......

I am with you Bunz I am the same way when my clothes start to get tight I know i have to work out more or differently. I hate getting on the scale so my clothes are always my guage, that may not be the smartest thing but hey we have our quirks.

We can start up our Yardie diet/workout thread again. I'm telling you when I learned I was a carb addict I tailored my own diet veggies fish and no carbs or sugar and my own work out routines and that worked for me. You just have to find you nitch you can do it Bunz!

The man lost his phone the day we were approved (Friday) and he can't get it replaced right now. BUT in my defense he has been using his sister's phone to call me still, every night before bed and every morning to wake me... when he did not call last night or this morning I got worried. I tried sisters phone twice before I freaked out
