gonna be honest ells.. cornrows don't last long AT ALL..

esp on a good grade of hair.. my daught's start get fuzzy after few DAYS.. but me push it for at least 2 weeks..even longer w/ some mouse or fantasia gel, but hubby may not want to put that on his hair.. SORRY..

Quanna you know sometimes it takes a separation to realize the love. Looking back you know it was all in God' plan and look at what you have now a life long commitment. I guess this saying holds true in your case "If you love someone let them go,if they come back to you it was meant to be" (F)(L)

Hey I posted that quote awhile back!!! LMBO!!!:yes:

i love ur lmbo..did u make that up??? i get tired of cussing too.. so i will say dwl or something like that.. i think ppl would ask me what lmbo means...

i don't think it's new...i got it for somewhere...I rarely make things up...

on the locks.. check maintenance fees.. i wanna say its almost as much as getting cornrow, but i don't know how often they get them tightened.. it may be worth it???

If he decided on locks, I would almost definitely become his 'tightener' since I think that would be a bit more manageable. After the initial cost of getting them, I think I'd want to save the maintenance money & it would be worth spending several hours every month or two to keep them up. I really wish I could just cornrow but I've got to give serious props to anyone who can ca ie nah easy!

Is he going to start work soon? if so, maybe he could pick up the hair maintenance tab. just a thought.

I remember back in the days (way before he came here) when my husband had braids..I cornrowed it for him one time and he went and got a hair cut next week. He said I braid to tight. I did a good job..just too tight. So he got a fade ...my plan worked..:thumbs:

ur right..

well i'd give u the same advice.. ask around and get a college or high skool student..IF he decides to keep doing the cornrows.. i know that stuff can get expensive.. coldn't imagine HAVING to get my hair done every 2 weeks..

or he can do the twists..you can twist it up for him Ells...two pieces and twist.

I guess something I prayed for might be really coming true...

You see I wanted a position to open up for a superisory role.

Well, one co-worker is moving to Texas..He is so happy..he brought a house and everything

and well the other one...DID NOT SHOW UP FOR WORK and the manager is ASKING if he came in...Now this isn't the best situation but he is on a performance plan....and uhmmm this is not making him look good.

KK that's hilarious! Maybe not for him but just that slightly sinister side to you has me cracking up!

Yeah, the one thing I actually CAN do is the twists....until we decide, twists it will be. However, even that takes me several hours since I'm so new at it. :bonk:

kk..yuh nuh easy make r cut him hair like dat!!!

ooohhh yeah, two strand twists would work.. if i can do it. i know u can ells, that would be a good experiment..

He kept saying how he is a grown man now and as getting ready to become a husband he needed to get rid of the braids. Just his thought. He calls it the old man hair cut. But it looks good to me and make him look even younger. hahaha

I am a believe that if you can't keep them looking nice..then you gonna have do something else.

But a hair cut ain't cheap either.

Good afternoon ladies,

I have a quick question?

When we sent in the DS-230 the original birth and marriage certificates were in there.

Does anyone know when we can get those back or will we?????????

I don't think you get originals back. You have to send in a form requesting the originals. Search on USCIS.

Sorry...
