Jawi, lol @ your kitchen cleaning story.

One more hour until the WEEKEND! My friend is trying to get me to go to an all-white party for 25 yr olds & under tonight. I told her #1 I don't have all white and #2 I'm not trying to party with little kids! I made the mistake of telling this to Steven.... sometimes I forget his age.

...the only reason why he can cook is because him and his friends would go out to the bush from when they were young and run "boats" all the time over a fire and steel pot...so that is how he learned how to cook...

What is running boats?

What's the point of taking a bath if you putting on dirty clothes....

My thought exactly...she would take about 4 baths a day and wanted all the guys to split the water bill down the middle. She tried to cheat them on how the bills got paid...then told me because I wasn't a roommate and one of the other roommate's fiancee' wasn't a roommate we couldn't participate in the conversation. I said anything that has to do with my man...is my business. Your record keeping doesn't add up..and you are going to have to explain it to "BOTH" of us before he pays you another dime. I sat my butt right in the middle of the living room too. She had the nerve to ask the other lady if she wanted to become her nanny since she wanted to be closer to her man so bad. The woman had a great paying job but stayed in Toronto instead of Calgary...she told her to kiss her a$s and that her man would be moving out too. Then the nasty woman starting crying about how they couldn't afford to live in the huge house with everyone leaving...you should have thought about that before you started trying to cheat people.

Its funny to hear everyone else story about housework issue...its cool to hear that no matter how minimal it might seem everyone is experiencing it someway or the other...I agree with Kimmy when she said she blames the mother...my hubby is the last boy out of 7 kids...there is only two boys in his fam which is him and one older brother...the rest are all girls...so he was spoiled and didn't have to do any housework at his house...the only reason why he can cook is because him and his friends would go out to the bush from when they were young and run "boats" all the time over a fire and steel pot...so that is how he learned how to cook...

The only one thing i look forward too is when our baby is born he said he will wash all her clothes for me by hand...(he doesn't think i wash good with my hand cause you don't hear the squeaking when I do it...but when he does it you hear it...LOL) I told him i don't believe in washing baby clothes in outside washing machines and he agrees...i don't have a washing machine in the house and I just think its unsanitary for newborns clothes to go into washing machines that people you don't know uses since babies skin are so delicate...so he said he will do that...we will see though cause I don't want to get my hopes all high....

Housekeeping won't be our issue...cooking definitely will. A can't cook a pop tart...then he has the nerve to be picky about what he eats. I can't make every Jamaican dish...so I guess he will eat cereal when he gets tired of brownstew chicken and ackee and saltfish. LMAO

Testimony Time!

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed earlier this year. The total cost came to about $2100, of which I paid over $1000 out of pocket. Well, about a month AFTER the surgery, when I was thinking it was over, I got a bill in the mail for $447!:crying: When I saw that Friday evening, I knew I couldn't even call them until Monday. I was SO DISAPPOINTED. It was like someone punched me in the stomach. I already felt like that surgery was WAAAY too expensive, and then to tack on another almost $500. That hit me hard.

Well, Monday I called and they told me not to worry about it. They file with the dental insurance, who pays some & says "check with medical first" for others. Then they file with the medical insurance who pays some & says "get the rest from dental." Then they file with dental, who pays whatever amount they pay. She said the process could take a couple of months.

Now it's about 3 months later. Today I got home & checked the mail and found.... a REFUND check for $700!!!!!

So I went from owing another $447 to receiving about $700 back!

I LOVE my God!

It will get better. Our little one changed our lives for the better. I don't worry about the cleaning any more. We have one day a week we work on cleaning the house. With a little one there isn't as much time to clean anymore at the baby stages. Plus now that she is one she rather be hanging on me. Than letting us clean. :). I think cleaning baby clothes in a washing machine is fine just use dreft fabric softener. It would take a lot of work to clean the babies clothes and they go through outfits fast. My daughter was allergic to many fabric softeners. She also broke out after swimming. Now she is fine at one.
