Im getting married at a wedding palor. I told my family/bridal party they can come or not. Most of them was like "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa we coming!" lol I kept telling them I would NEVER get married...Now they are using it against me and they want to make sure I do this lol. Im planning a vowel renewal ceremony and reception for Sept. 19, 2010. Everything is looking good... Im trying to have it at a really nice firehouse with a full kitchen (nice place), my best friend/matron of honor is a pastry chef who is making my cake and cupcakes to give to my guests. A friend of mine is a dj on the local radio station and has agreed to DJ for us. The gentlemen that does photography for my job has agreed to do my photography and he doesn't really do weddings anymore but promised to do mine. There is a really nice like about 3 minutes from my apartment where we can take pictures. My dad has a time share at the Poconos which he is giving us for 1 week and he is paying for the reception and the food! My brother is paying for my car and my other close girlfriend is paying for the invitations! Steve's momma has been helping pay the fees etc. We are so blessed. I found my dress for about 400.00 I cannot wait. I have Spanish friend coming. Im having American/Jamaican/Spanish food! About 100 people. Im even having arts and crafts for the 10 or so children that are coming...I cannot wait.

O.k. I'm confused is all this for the renewal ceremony or your actually ceremony??

ONE DAY to go.. 2moro.. all of us will be in anticipation, i guess u were not really able to take off from work huh???? u put me to shame w/ all that cleaning w/ a bum neck.. i stayed up till 1am cleaning day b4 roger came, as well as earlier that week and i know it wasn't as thorough (sp??) as u..

i am soo ready for this week to be ova.. ready for both kids to be in skool.. i am worried how things will go w/ my kids going to 2 differnt skools, im not the most timely person...i hope i can get on the ball to have all of outta the door in time..

Oh trust me...I know how to tek ie nice and easy and slow...he will be bawling when mi finish. In case you guys didn't know...Mya was modeled after me in the Stella story. Toya was modeled after Jonesie...all my Stella fans...I promise that I will complete the story for you and post it to my blog. My blog is listed under my avatar on my page as my website. Give me a little of time to bring it completely up to date with what you guys have already read. The Shades of Blue story will be finished to be my first novel with an attempt to publish. If it does well, I will publish Stella as the second. I also have another novel that I started years ago named "Muddy Waters", and it was loosely based around my mother's life. It brings tears to your eyes...I just have to find somewhere to get the story off the floppy disc since I only have a laptop now.

Jawi, I still have a floppy disc drive on my computer. Send it up and I'm transfer it for you.

Most of them was like "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa we coming!" lol I kept telling them I would NEVER get married...Now they are using it against me and they want to make sure I do this lol. Im trying to have it at a really nice firehouse with a full kitchen (nice place), my best friend/matron of honor is a pastry chef who is making my cake and cupcakes to give to my guests. A friend of mine is a dj on the local radio station and has agreed to DJ for us. The gentlemen that does photography for my job has agreed to do my photography and he doesn't really do weddings anymore but promised to do mine. There is a really nice like about 3 minutes from my apartment where we can take pictures. My dad has a time share at the Poconos which he is giving us for 1 week and he is paying for the reception and the food! My brother is paying for my car and my other close girlfriend is paying for the invitations! Steve's momma has been helping pay the fees etc. We are so blessed. I found my dress for about 400.00 I cannot wait. I have Spanish friend coming. Im having American/Jamaican/Spanish food! About 100 people. Im even having arts and crafts for the 10 or so children that are coming...I cannot wait.

Wow...that is amazing that so many of your friends are willing to help out. I'm alone in my planning...so we will do a simple elopement ceremony and plan a reception later once he establishes a friend base here. I would perfer to do it again in Jamaica...but we will see.

Our interview was on August 4th (APPROVED) and due to the holiday on the 6th the visa stayed on hold until Wednesday the 12th and then was available for pick up in Montego Bay!!!!!!

Clarification: It's awesome that he's here now. It's not awesome that it took 8 days for the Visa to be ready.

If I'm not mistaken it took a little over a week to get our visa too. I put it in my timeline...but I don't remember exactly. Anything less than the week is not the norm...its a miracle.

I need to vent yall, Im sooooooooo upset right now. I went to the pharmacy to get my daughter's asthma spacer and someone hit my car!!!! The woman was so incoherent and she had a 2/3 yr old in the car with her. She was oblivious to everything!!! What has me so mad right now is how can you jeopardize a child's live like that? This is just what I didn't need!!! Don't they know Im trying to get to my man to get him over here????

OMG-d, that is just dyam DISGUSTING!!!!! Was she drunk, high...what!!!? I hope Child Protective Services tek away deh child from her!! I hope your car feels better soon, Ms.T!

this reminds me of a story on the news a couple weeks back where this woman was drunk and high as hell and drove full speed down the wrong side of the road and killed a bunch of ppl including herself and most of her CHILDREN who were in the car with her

Yup, now they are trying to charge the woman's husband because he knew she was drinking alcohol & smoking weed before she left on the 5 hour ride back home to Long Island!! The crazy part is she was going the wrong wat for TWO MILES!! Those poor kids must have been scared as hell...before they died! So sad!

Thank you so much Ms.Tee...we have being surviving an LDR for 5 years as of July 1st. My wedding dress is absolutely beautiful guys and the birdcage veil/flower comb and shoes match perfectly. I also have rhinestone/pearl drop earrings that ties everything together. My sister is giving me a beautiful rhinestone/pearl bracelet to wear...the company doing my elopement package will be providing me with a lavendar rose bridal bouquet.

I'm hoping I can talk him into doing a white linen suit with a lavendar shirt...or something similar...but he has no idea what he wants to wear yet.

His sister is flying down on the 8th of Sept...but she doesn't want to drive for 4 hours to get to the ceremony...so A said "Fine...this is our day and we are not changing a thing to suit anyone else. She will see us when we get back." I was so proud of him because he loves his sister dearly. I was willing to postpone the wedding @ Tybee and just get married at the courthouse on the 9th so that she could be there for him (you guys know that I have been totally against the courtroom marriage but I was going to compromise anyway). He said absolutely not...you want the beach...and we will have the beach period. I love him so much.

My house smells so fresh and clean...there are no masked odors that are being covered by air fresheners and stuff. I even wiped down the doors around the handles because kids open doors and leave stains from whatever was on their hands.

My car needs to be detailed...but I'll leave that to A to take care of...at least I think I will. I may just take it to a detail shop today...and my fridge is still a mess.
