Joke of the day:

Satan is a bit perplexed. He points to the Pastor and says, "You! I can understand why you didn't run away, you are in your Lord's house, you preach against me everyday and you aren't afraid of me. But YOU (points to the Jamaican), why didn't you run out scared like everyone else?"

The Jamaican crosses one leg over the other and replies, "See one, see de other! I been married to you sister for 36 years.

:rofl::rofl::lol:

Hubby can to the US for the first time Saturday. las Vegas in 100 degree plus weather

LAWWWWDDDD

I been to Vegas and that heat is NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO Joke.......I bet he's so happy to be with u its ok to him!

Good morning all..

i pray everyone is blessed and doing well..

i have some big news..didn't share yesterday cuz im too nosy and couldn't get caught up..

OKAY MY SISTREN..

Ya'll know i have been a worry wart when it comes to this JA/US love thing for 2 years now.. but THIS trip has been different than ALL others.. i am busting out ot the seams w/ happiness and joy everyday w/ this man.. the love he's shown me cannot be matched SOOOOO

we eloped over the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dance:

i am officially a MRS.. and I LOOOOVVVVE MY GOOD GOOD HUSBAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:wow: CONGRATS....im late......but im happy 4 u (F)

I am sending Tierra to Bible Camp this week. I was so happy to see all the brown kids that were there monday morning. I wish there were more integrated churches here. Tierra's father sang in the church choir down in MD, had a CD released and everything... I can't find a church ANYWhere in Maine that has a kids choir. I hate to say it but "white" church is boring.. I actually enjoyed going to church with Tierra's dad. I was the only white person there and NEVER felt out of place.

I'm with you, most of the churches I've been raised with have been BORING! The songs are boring & it all seems pretty stiff even though the people are nice. Lehi thought the worship was boring when we went with my parents to their church when he first got here BUT, he loved how short the service was! Start at 10:30 & done at noon! He's willing to go any time since it's so short!:lol:

now i do think that is dependent upon denomination.. cuz there are some very exciting white pastors but forgive me if i offend, they are not usually baptist/protestant/methodist. not USUALLY

omg.. my ex was methodist and the church was ALL black... i only went that ONE TIME..

different strokes for different folks, if he wanted to keep going he could have LOL.. i gotta have some stomping and clapping in my life sorry..

Lol Mrs. Quana but i agree I used to a lively church.....I am pentecostal so thats what I am used to!

OK MI GAAN AH MI BED......look pon di time :o

Love has no boundaries, no limitations. Love flows like a river, silent and calm, it gives us strength and shelters us from every storm.

i couldnt even get insurance info from her and not too sure if the police did right away either, she is in their custody though and a family member came and got the child. I will get the police report tomorrow.

We'll if ur laws are the same there as here have your ins company get the report or else you'll have to pay for it. Here they dont give police reports for free so if we request one they charge us so we let our ins co get it and then get a copy from them.

(((Hugs))) I know you are hot to death with this its like what else???

I'm super excited because I FINALLY was about to get "free" round trip airfare to Montego Bay!

I'd been checking daily since finding out the interview date, HOPING the price of the flight would go down... but nope. It was stuck at $507 every single day. The other thing I hoped would happen was that my 20,000 bonus miles from the Continental MasterCard would go through in time for me to get a flight. Every day I checked it, but my # of miles hadn't changed. Until today! I was able to use the bonus miles & pay taxes/fees ($52) for next month's trip. That savings will come in VERY handy. :star:

Wow Nat that is great!!!!

My brother loves Continental that is all he will fly but wait if you opened up a credit card your not going to have some debt.

Man I wish I could get a credit card. If I was to even think about appyling I think cops would jump out like step away from the application.

Good Morning....

Good Morning DaDa!

Nat - great news on the ticket! I did get good news that JetBlue is flying direct from NYC to St Lucia starting in October! Just might snatch some tickets under $300!

Mstee.. I really hope you get good news from the insurance people!

Nah. I don't plan to use this card except to book flights on Continental.... or when I'm having issues with my Visa. I can't even TELL you how many times Chase locked my Visa card due to fraud suspicions after I made a top-up at Digicel or tried to buy minutes at Rebtel.

Regardless of which card I use, I make sure to pay it off each month so I never have to pay interest. During 8 years of having credit cards, I've paid interest once (after a month in Africa).
