You are all killing me with the chocolate chip cookie talk. I really need to go and get one now. I am with you Quana I LOVE THEM!

Me too!! I love raw cookie dough and fresh baked cookies.....mmmm I'm thinking about Subway cookies right now...

Oh I had my mom make us a batch of CCcookies Friday... spent the WHOLE day Saturday at the beach. Kids playing in the Ocean and my girl and I reading, tanning and eating cookies! LOL. Great day!

Hi Irie! I was wondering where you snuck off to.

Sounds like fun!

I told myself I would check e-mails and keep up with work... besides a little FB ... I stayed away from the computer! It was a nice, busy, week!

KK - sure, I will watch Stacy, just be forewarned that she will not be spoiled when you come back  Well cared for and loved, yes = Pampered, NO!

Stacey will have you wrapped around her likkle paw. She's an absolute sweetheart. She sneaky though..

Im looking through K1 stuff to familiarize myself with stuff. Something I should have done at the beginning of this journey....

Morning Mstee - Doesn't matter when you look through it, as long as you do, lol - Are you waiting to receive the packet from the embassy, or did you download the forms?

Im on ready set go. I have all the forms filled out just waiting on packet 3 which was mailed on 8/11 and they told him to come get it on 9/8 which Im not understanding. Ive given in to his mother, she is guiding Steve along and whatever they ask me for I have it ready. Thats why I was getting pissed with her.

I'm going to ask...Why is the mother SO concern with the paperwork? Has she done this before? Or does she like to have control? or is she really trying to be helpful?

My MIL only provided the birth certificate.

LOL, I love dogs - My cousin's (where I am now) is the sweetest old lady - she's a shepard mix, and she's 14 now - but so so good and loving, and easy. My friends dog, that I stayed with last week, is a whole nother story - She has spoiled him rotten - They had the backyard fenced in so he could go to the bathroom out there - She got him in the habit of going on walks, and he would not use the yard - Her husband called me the other day to thank me, cause that habit is broken!

That's awesome! :star:

Clarification: It's awesome that he's here now. It's not awesome that it took 8 days for the Visa to be ready.

Because #1- she is listening to her niece who has gone through the process a year or two ago who lives in NYC

#2 - She has the habit of wanting to be in control

#3 - She has a computer at her house and Steve doesn't know how to use it (lol)

#4 - She doesnt realize that I am getting valid information for people who are ACTUALLY going through all this right now.

One good thing is this family has a lot of good links in JA. They know alot of people so getting things on their end hasn't been too difficult at all.

Ive done everthing I can do state side, the rest is going to be on them. At least they did listen to me about the non-impediment and he should be receiving that this week. I was trying to tell her that I need to ask for an interview date because I work full time and Im in college and its going to be very hard on me to take off for the interview. I get 5 weeks vacation per year but I need to be off every Tuesday for an entire semester using my vacation time. I feel like I must be there at the interview because our age difference might send up a red flag. If it were not for that reason I wouldnt even go on the interview.

I think what really happened with my future MIL is that her husband works for a Disney cruise ship. The first day her and I got into a small confrontation was because her husband made hisi own flight arrangements back to florida but he made them incorrectly so she was "bothered" and had to take over. I think she feels as though if she doesn't do things herself, they wont get done the right way. There is only 1 year age difference between myself and her. It is hard to look at her as anything other that and equal. We have always been able to communicate but this incident with her hubby made her a little militant! One good thing about all this is Steve has my back. Ive just decided to let go and let God. If it was meant to be it will happen and I know Ive done all I can do so far. But........ When Steve hits US soil.. its a wrap, she has to kiss him goodbye and wish him well! I believe that she will because in the end I believe in my heart she wants what is best... I sleep with one eye open though just in case lol

MsTee, I am doing okay.... How are U?

Im great! Its good to see ya sis....
