Yeah, customers can deffinately make a job worth going to. I was a fuel desk cashier when I first moved here to SC, and had a group of drivers that made coming to work alot of fun.

My life is boring...I wish I had something to do tonight...this is one of the times I wish hubby was here...cause if I have to be bored at home, I'd rather be bored at home with him!

I'm at home, but am rarely bored. Home is my favorite place to be. I just put together a laptop cart that rolls around. So I can use my laptop easily if on the sofa, in bed, probably even roll it to the kitchen.

If you have cable, The Oprah Effect is on CNBC.

If Steven were here (or if any of my friends had wanted to go), I'd be at this outdoor theatre watching The Wiz (the play). I've never seen the Wiz and figured I'd enjoy a live play more than the movie.

Customers can be highly entertaining. My first job was at a Subway across the street from a medical center. There was this one doctor (nurse?) who came a lot. If he was ever in line and someone ordered something that needed to go into the microwave, he'd run around the corner by the bathrooms & not come back out until we were finished using the microwave. Of course, we asked him once why he did this. He said he didn't want to be damaged by the waves.

Then there was the preacher who always wanted about triple the # of tomatoes you're supposed to get, but he felt like he shouldn't have to pay for them.

Love the area where I live for things like the weather, the beaches, the history-the Gullah/Geechie culture is especially interesting, the architecture, and things like that. Then there's things the things I don't like so much. The school systems SUCK, and I see a Us vs Them' mentality, to the extent that there is little or no personal responsibilty.

I had a couple of drivers who thought they were sooo special, I should stop assisting the customer I was helping and help them. I told these drivers "You are in MY Queendom, baby, we do this by MY rules. Now wait your turn"

One driver came in once who turned out to be a guy I went to high school with. This is amazing since I went to a miniscule high school (92 in my senior class) in Up-state NY 100 years ago. He recognized me from my laugh, he said.

I got stalked (literally) by one guys wife. Dude was short (you must be at least as tall as me to ride this ride) and had about 4 teeth (ewww). She could not seem to understand that she was the only person who wanted this man.
