well i didn't do the lace front.. they didn't have any that looked nice enuff for me to commit to, i just got a curly wig that i LOVE.. have gotten so many compliments.. its kind of like the one i have in my profile pic.. the one by myself..

this lady at my job has one and i am not too happy w/ the results.. altho she did FABULOUSLY hiding the lace.. it doesn't look natural enough for me...

Yup I press my likkle piece pon deh top so it blends, with the curly hair it will be easier because although I apply that heat its dying to curly up so I press it and twist it and when I take it out its the same texture as the weave.

I was wondering if you took the plunge and got he lacefront, that's right wait till you find the one that is for you, it's out there!

Oh wow so your co-worker's doesn't look natural huh? Well at least you know what not to look for LOL. What does Roger think about the wig, what does he say at night when you take it off? Do you have a wig stand? Mr Philly was like what is that :blink: LOL then when I put the wig on it he was like :blink:

Congrats JaPrincess! I was in the same boat as you...pregnant waiting on the K1 visa. I was so desperate to have Neil here for the birth, and for a while there it looked like it wasn't going to happen. But it did! He was here a month before a gave birth, and I was even able to fly down for the interview because it was scheduled a few days before the doctor said I couldn't fly anymore.

As you might imagine, they asked us almost no questions at the interview. Instant approval just based on the size of my belly! If the interview is too close for you to attend just send down a doctor's note saying you can't fly, and a few ultrasound pictures wouldn't hurt either!

I went down in April to go over all the K1 paperwork with him and have him sign all the papers.

In May after I got back I was like honey I am late

He was on the phone with me when I peed on the stick that morning

I know exactly how you feel! You wont get denied! Once the approval comes in and they send it too the embassy, just use all of the little tricks to speed it along, like...don't wait for packet three to come to your so, send it via fedex as soon as you know the embassy has your case. Email them telling them your pregnant requesting a certain time frame for your interview...

I'm curios...those of you with babies with Jamaican fathers...was your man squeemish about being in the room with you when you gave birth? Did he watch, or wait outside till the bloodbath was over?

Well, I don't have any chi'ren yet, but the hubby said that when the time comes, he will NOT be in the delivery room w/ me... I said WHAT?!?!?! I have to do it alone?? LOL.. shoot, his rass was w/ me in the room "making" the baby!!! Ok.. well, maybe by then he'll have a change of heart, but for now, it's a NO.

Not to burst your bubble; but the embassy doesn't exactly agree with you here. They say, it could've been a one time thing.

I thought about that too...but didn't want to spoil the fun...especially in regards to K1's...they sometimes become suspicious because they believe that the couple is only using the baby for the SO to get over...doesn't necessarily prove the genuineness of the relationship...that's where your proof and your being there (if u can) are going to come into play...but still...I wish you and your family the best...

well nat.. that sort of thing happens ALL the time.. so i am not sure but wouldn't be surprised.., don't know if its just messy cuz its on a public board, i mean she could have been one of the guests, but u never know..

Same here right now.....Lehi would be HAPPY & I'd be freaked! We need to wait two or so years before I'm ready for all that.

I thought the same thing Nat regarding your question....I'm sure she was clued in but I hope she doesn't stay away from us feeling like we were bashing her. I really also wish her the best....she is a sweetheart just like her sis. Just hope whatever happens, she ends up happy.

I had an emergency c-section with my first son so my Dr. is not interested in trying a V-Back

My honey knows this means a surgery for me and he is gonna be in that room.

He wants to be a Nurse/Doctor and is not afraid of blood, so I think he will be ok!
